.How to use stainless bucket (optional parts)

When using a stainless bucket, please strictly observe following warnings/cautions.

~WARNING
o Load stainless bucket in the center of chamber.
If the space between the bucket and the chamber's wall is not enough. exhaust holes located in the wall of
:. chamber may choke. It leads to serious accident.
Following safety devices may not work due to choking of exhaust holes in chamber.
- Over pressure detector
(Error message is shown on the display with buzzer beeping and power to heater is cut off.)
- Safety Valve (Steam evacuates out of chamber even if over pressure detector doesn't work oroperly.)

~CAUTION
(9 Do not stack stainless buckets up in the chamber..
If the space between buckets is not enough. the sterilization may be incomplete as air convection in the chamber
is insufficient.
(9 Do not overload objects which are difficult to penetrate steam (linen, gauze, etc+-), or it may
cause sterilization incomplete.
o Put water (200m!) into stainless bucket, or it may cause sterilization incomplete.
The sterilization time shall be longer if you sterilize without water.
(9 Do not put too much objects in the chamber for sterilization.
Quantity of objects to be put in the chamber shall be less than 60% of the chamber capacity.
o Sterilization time / temperature shall be longer/higher compared with stainless wire basket, as
evacuating air's efficiency of sterilization bucket is not good.
Use the chemical indicators and so on to get suitable sterilization condition.

If you find crack on gasket. please contact local distributor.
If you leave crack one unchanged. it may cause burst at worst as well as leakage of steam.
o Be sure to slide lid lock lever slowly to close position (left end) before operation.
If lock is not enough. operator can not start operation (Er4 is shown). But if operator can start operation by
malfunction of detection part. lid may explode at high pressure which cause fatal accident or serious injury.
(9 Do not slide the lid lock lever by force.
Forcing the lever to move may damage to mechanical locking device. it may cause unexpected accident.

~CAUTION
o Soon after previous operation (in case that TEMPERATURE DISPLAY indicates 50-79°C after
opening lid). wait for a minute with closing lid. then slide the lid lock lever.
Reactive force arises when closing lid because the air which was caught by lid is swollen by heat of chamber.
Therefore. it's necessary to keep the lid closing for a minute to discharge swollen air in chamber.

5. 14 For the reliable sterilization

In case of sterilizing following containers which hinder the circulation and penetration of
steam, the temperature rises slower than temperature in chamber. Because residual air in
following containers is difficult to be evacuated.
Also it may cause Er1 (over pressure error) .

• Containers which hinder the circulation and penetration of steam are;

• Disposable plastic bag
Closed containers
• Deep containers
• Containers with small mouth

Especially, in case of using disposable plastic bag and stainless bucket, refer to
5.4 Load object to prevent sterilization incomplete and/or danger of over pressure.

To operate assured sterilization, be sure to check result of the sterilization by the chemical
indicators and so on.
