little bandage slicing recycling fry cut
Everything went wrong when I was cooking yesterday. I was (1) slicing an onion and
(2) my finger. There was blood everywhere, but it wasn’t as bad as it looked. Anyway,
I put a (3) on my finger and carried on. I put a (4) oil in a frying pan and
put it on the gas ring. I started to (5) the onion and a piece of steak. Then I noticed a
bad smell – the pan was too hot and the steak was burning. I had to throw the food in the food
(6) bin. But I was stupid – it was still hot and it burnt a hole in the plastic bag. All of
the old food fell on the floor and made a terrible mess.

B: Yes, the television (5) turned on every afternoon but I couldn’t change the channel

A: Oh, that’s horrible, isn’t it? And what about your leg now?
