1 Gross Decontamination at Fire Scene 5 Flushing & Drying


Rinse equipment with water directly on site before doffing. Let all components dry completely and make sure pressure
reducer is dried with an air gun (compressed air with
breathing air quality according to EN 12021) to avoid
potential risk of icing.
2 Gross Cleaning at Fire Station
Final decontamination using a washing machine with
detergent or cleaning agents. 6 Maintenance & Service
Get the equipment re-assembled if neccessary.
3 Final Cleaning Perform all required checks of all components.
Depending on the degree of contamination, clean the
equipment by hand and/or washing machine. 7 Testing
Perform functional and tightness tests according to service
4 Disinfection and maintenance manuals.
All components that have come into contact with saliva or
exhalation air must be disinfected by hand or machine.
