Day 14: When God seems distant

There are a lot of numerous times wherein I usually feel lonely and disappointed in my
life, but by simply thinking about God’s presence by my side, all my worries would ease away.
However, I do not always feel God’s presence all the time, instead there are times wherein I feel
His presence to be distant from me. That is, that brings much worries that what I have anticipated
to be.

On the contrary, as I’ve read the fourteenth day reflection, I’ve realized that God is real
no matter how I feel. We may feel alone because we usually tend to think that God has already
abandoned us, but it’s the other way around. There may come a time wherein we would be
needing Him the most, but we would feel His presence to be distant. Making us confused for
quite a long time. Our trust tend to lose, but we must all realize that the problems and challenges
have made us to be better and stronger. When we feel alone, it is not about God’s abandonment,
but His way of testing our trust with Him.

No matter who and what we are, God would never abandon and leave us. We are, after
all, planned for God’s pleasure and God’s children.
