Day 15: Formed for God’s family

“We are the children of God”

That’s what we usually hear from people who have chosen the path of engaging their
lifetime with God. The fifteenth day reflection is not a shocking selection from me anymore. I
have lived with the idea that we are all related before God. But how can I start treating others
who also believe in God like members of my own family?

I am very much aware of our relation to one another, not biologically but spiritually,
however as of now, I still don’t quite understand how to treat others who also believe to what
I’m believing, in a manner of how I usually treat my family.

Nevertheless, after reading the fifteenth day reflection, I have concluded to just simply
respect and love them, as what we would have done the same for our family. We can show our
affections variously to one another, but what’s more important is our ability to not be ashamed,
to call, and to treat them as our brothers and sisters. We should honor them with the greatest
privilege of being known, just like what we would do for God.
