Red Hat CloudForms 4 Foundations Lab

1. Deploy in OPENTLC/Red Hat Skills


Exchange
1. Log in to the OPENTLC lab portal.
2. Go to Services → Catalogs.
3. Under the Service Catalogs accordion, select OPENTLC Cloud Infrastructure Labs → Red Hat
CloudForms 4.5 Foundations Lab.

1.1. Order Lab


1. Click Order.
2. In the lower right corner, click Submit.
3. After about 10 minutes, check your email for a message from Red Hat with information about how to
access your environment.

This email contains all of the direct links and IP addresses you need to access the environment, so store it carefully.

4. Wait about 30 minutes to allow the environment to build and start up.

It may take 30 minutes or more for the environment to become fully available via HTTP and HTTPS.

The lab environment is cloud-based, so you can access it over the Internet from anywhere. However, do not expect its per
match a bare-metal environment.

There are two CloudForms appliances in your environment: Demo 1 and Demo 2 . Demo 1 has static data and is used to
user management, cloud intel, and reporting functionality. Demo 2 has live providers and is used to show VM and instanc
management.

This entire lab environment is also available in RHPDS at https://rhpds.redhat.com as the CloudForms 4.5 Demo. After you
this environment in this course you can use RHPDS to demo CloudForms to your customers. Note that partners must requ
through their Red Hat alliance manager.
