Safety
All TopFlow products are designed and tested to ensure reliability and
integrity for long term safe operation. Please install and use these products
in a manner that promotes safety.

Quality
All TopFlow products are engineered, manufactured and tested under our ISO
9001 Certified Quality Program. Each check valve undergoes visual inspections
to meet the requirements of MSS SP-55 when in the rough casting phase and
MSS SP-25 when complete. Each valve is subjected to pressure testing in
compliance with the API-598 Standard. The minimum wall thickness, face-
to-face dimensions and all other critical dimensions and specifications meet
the requirements of API-594 and 6D, plus ANSI B16.1 and B16.5 codes. All
materials are ordered and verified against ASME and ASTM specifications.
Chemical and physical analysis as well as Radiographic, Ultrasonic, Liquid
Penetration and Magnetic Particle Inspections are available upon request.
Please specify these requirements as well as additional standards when ordering
or making inquiry. NOTE: Valves can be manufactured to meet NACE MR-
01-75 when requested.

Spring Closing
The specially designed torsion spring in the TopFlow Check Valve is
intended to smoothly close the valve when the flow nearly reaches zero.
This minimizes the problem of back pressure suddenly slamming the
valve shut and creating water hammer or line shock. Stainless steel (316) CLOSED OPENING OPEN
