POSSIBLE AGREEMENTS
● Check-in with a teacher comes into play once the student has had more than one
verbal warning.
○ Having a check in, means we want to know why they are acting a certain way or why they are
“acting out”
○ Check-ins will help you get to know your student better
○ Check-ins will build on the student trusting you
○ Check-ins can be during the morning if we know the student has a hard time and we can set a goal
for the day, and then once again have a check-in at the end of the day to see how they did
■ Goals can be set if behavior is repeated
○ This check-in can answer questions the student may have
○ This will help with letting the students know their accomplishments or what they need to work on
○ Overall, check-ins will improve the students behavior
