t. BACKGROUND:

Repu:blic Act (R.A.) No. 10360, dated January 14,2A13, also known as, 'lAn Act Creatincl
the Province of Davao Occidental", created the Province of Davao Occidental from then
Province of Davao del Sur. The territorialjurisdiction of the Province of Davao Occidental shall
be within the preseni metes and bounds of all the municipalities that comprise therewith.

ln connection with R.A. Nlo. 10360, the 1't Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Davao
Occidental issuecl Resolution No. 120-20'lB "Urging all the Naiional Government Agencies to
update their respective databases and require them io change the nomenclature from Davao
del Sur to Davao Occidental for all areas under the jurisdiction of the province of Davao
Occidental."

H. OBJECTIVES:

This Order is issued to delineate the jurisdictionai bsundaries of RDO No. 115 pursuant to
Resolution No. 120-2018 in relaiion to R.A. No. 10360 and to inform all concerned to avoid
possible perplexities.

III. DELINEATION OF AREAS OF JURISDICTION:

RDO No. 115 - Digos City, Davao del Sur comprised the Provrnces of Davao del Sur and
Davao Occidental. ln consonance with Article 1, Section 7 of R.A No. 10360, the Province of
Davao del Sur comprises the Criy of Digos and municipalities of Bansalan, Hagonoy, Kiblawan,
Magsaysay, Itlalalag, Matanao, Padada, Sta. Cruz and Sulop. Henceforlh, the established
Provinee of Davao Occidental comprises the municipalities of Don Marcelino, Jose Abad
Santos, Malita, Sarangani (Sarangani island and Balut lsland) and Sta. Maria.

tv. REPEALING ELAUSE:

All issuances or portions thereof not consistent with the provisions of this Order are hereby
repealed or amended accordingly.

EFJFECTIVITY:
'ihis Order shali take eifect irnrnediately
