RESEARCH MODEL AND HYPOTHESES

We used the method proposed by researcher, Davis (1989) who

the issues of why users decide to accept or reject a new

The research model was tested with data obtained using offline
survey questionnaires. The items used in the survey can be
found in the Appendix on last page. Data was collected from
varying age group of people in USM and work place to test the
questionnaire. The IBM SPSS system was used to interpret the
results. Overall, 35 respondents completed the questionnaires
for this study. Respondents were screened according to whether
they had experience with the new freelance websites. Of this,
only 31 are considered as a freelancer and remaining 4 have not
done any kind of freelancing work before, but plan to use the
website to do freelance work in the future.
