Tibet Vietnam. Why Trek? An Inside Perspective on Trekking in Nepal. Twenty-five years ago,
New Zealand native Jamie McGuinness followed his muse and took a break from university to
travel the world. During that time, trekking became his passion, and he has been exploring the
Himalaya ever since. Jamie has been opening up new trekking areas with a series of hardcore
treks - many as long as 42 days - in a nod to the meaning of life, the universe, and everything in
Douglas Adams' quirky book, "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy". Along the way he wrote his
own guidebook, " Trekking in the Everest Region ", exploring virtually every trail, major and
minor, which is now being updated to the sixth edition. While the Everest base camp trek has
universal name recognition and brings 40,000 trekkers to Nepal annually, it is not the only hike
on the map. For example, in the Annapurna region, Jamie says, there are lower altitude treks as
well as high-altitude treks to suit everyone.

KEYWORDS:-
When creating content, a key factor to the long-term success of that content is the keyword it
focuses on.

The focus keyword is what you want to be found for when people enter that search query into a
search engine. There are three basic categories for these keywords: short tail, medium tail, and
long tail keywords.

Each category of keywords is based off of three things: their specificity, their keyword volume
(how many people search for the term per month), and keyword difficulty (how hard it is to rank
for that keyword in search.)

If you focus on a keyword that’s too broad and you may never rank well for it.

Focus too specific and very few people will search for it.

1. trekking
2. trekking cost
3. trekking nepal
4. everest trekking
5. trekking company
6. trekking nearby
7. trekking time
8. trekking camera

15
13. trekking for couples
14. trekking vs hiking
15. trekking what to pack
16. cheap trekking gear
17. how to trekking pole
18. can I trek alone
19. Is trekking dangerous
20. Trekking to mount everest
21. Trekking cost in nepal
22. What trekking shoes to buy
23. how many types of trekking are there
24. how is trekking different from mountaineering explain
25. where to buy trekking gear in kathmandu
26. where to buy trekking shoes
27. are trekking shoes good for walking
28. can trekking be done during periods
29. how much is a trekking permit in nepal
30. how much to tip trekking guide nepal

Short Tail Keywords:-

Short tail keywords are very broad keywords. They have a lot of search volume and are very
competitive.

For example above, the keyword “trekking” returned about 28,82,00 results. It has over 100,00
people searching for it every month, but the competition for it is very high.

If you wish to target that keyword in your content, you’re not going to rank highly for it for a
very long time – if ever.Within your content marketing strategy you can try to get search
visibility for a short tail keyword, but be prepared to wait a long time (and to create a lot of
supporting content) for it to come to fruition.

1. trekking

16
2. trekking cost
3. trekking nepal
4. everest trekking
5. trekking company
6. trekking nearby
7. trekking time
8. trekking camera
9. trekking kits
10. trekking bag

Reason and justification:- Since my company is based on providing services and products for
adventure like Trekking in Nepal, I find the above mentioned keywords very effective to drive
more customers at my blogs. As my company is based on Trekking, the most reliable and most
searched keyword I find is "trekking". It directly reflects the sector of my business and is
proportionally related to my company's service. Since I'll be also posting about the gear and kits
at my blog, the keywords like trekking camera, trekking kits, trekking shoes will help to boost
the traffic since it will have those in its content.

Medium tail keywords:-

Medium tail keywords are the best of both worlds. They have some specificity in them, so their
competition isn’t as high as short tail keywords, but they still have some decent search volume.

As in the long tail keywords, search engines are getting good at figuring out what people are
searching for. So many times they seem to automatically take a long tail keyword and try to
match it up with a medium tail keyword. So why not just start with a medium tail keyword?

Medium tail keywords still take a lot of work to rank well. The content you create has to
be great, and you need to get inbound links to your content for search engines to really pay
attention to it. But focusing on a single medium tail keyword allows you to focus on that single
piece of content instead of multiple pieces, which should make that single piece of content more
effective.

17
1. trekking for beginners
2. trekking for couples
3. trekking vs hiking
4. trekking what to pack
5. cheap trekking gear
6. how to trekking pole
7. can I trek alone
8. Is trekking dangerous
9. Trekking to mount everest
10. Trekking cost in nepal

Reasons and justification:- We already know what medium tail key words are. Thus above are
the some medium tailed keywords that I find most relevant to atttract my customers at my blog.
While looking at the data provided by keyword planner tools like Semrush and ubersuggest I
found the above mentioned data quite reliable and more effective to increase traffic at my
website. Since focusing on a single medium tail keyword allows us to focus on that single piece
of content instead of multiple pieces, which makes that single piece of content more effective.

Long Tail Keywords:-

On the opposite end of the spectrum are long tail keywords. Long tail keywords are very specific
and usually contain more than 3 individual words. They also have very low competition and
search volume. Ranking highly for a specific keyword with low search volume doesn’t move the
needle much in terms of traffic to your site. This is where a now old-fashioned SEO technique
took root. Because search engines used to rely on specificity in the searches (looking for an exact
match to the user’s query) many content creators and SEOs based their entire strategy on long
tail keywords.

1. how many types of trekking are there

2. how is trekking different from mountaineering explain
3. where to buy trekking gear in kathmandu
4. how to pack a trekking bag

18
5. are trekking shoes good for walking
6. can trekking be done during periods
7. how much is a trekking permit in nepal
8. What trekking shoes to buy
9. where to get trekking permit in pokhara
10. how many trekking company in nepal

Reason and justification:- I have selected above mentioned Long Tailed keywords because I
found that they are one of the bet keywords that people are looking. Besides they are very cheap
though it doesn't attract much traffic at my blog. Though most of the long tailed keywords
doesn't work as effective as short tailed and long tailed there might me some feasibility that it
may increase traffic. For example: "how to pack a trekking bag" this alone long tailed keyword
has a total of 19.4M result and 45.06 %KD. I have enlisted the above keywords keeping in mind
that it take my visitors to my blog a SEO search will relate the searched keyword to the content
of my blog. Since I will be using the more keywords in my blog post, social media posts, the
more the target audience will feel easy to find me. Long tail keywords are a combination of three
or more words or phrases. While long tail keywords tend to boast lower search volumes, they
generally attract more relevant traffic, are typically less competitive, and easier to rank well on.
So I choosed long tail keywords that help to specify my product and service.
