particular question provided.

Group A: What is the author’s purpose for writing this particular work? Provide a theme that
could be presented in this story and give 3 examples with textual evidence to support your
answer.

Group B: Which literary elements are used in this text? Provide 3 and explain them. For
example: Alliteration, Diction, Flashback, Foreshadowing, Imagery, Metaphor, Simile,
Personification, etc. Also, find 2 unknown vocabulary words and give the definition for them.

Group C: Create a plot diagram on the back labeling the Exposition, Rising Action, Climax,
Falling Action, and the Resolution for the text. Each element of the plot should include a
paragraph (5 sentence minimum) description as to what occurs at each part.
