examples or show the current trends or on what is happening now on different social media
platforms.

Social media are interactive computer-mediated technologies that facilitate the creation or sharing of
information, ideas, career interests, and other forms of expression via virtual communities and networks.
When it comes to millennials and future generations, there are two impacts, the good impact, and the bad
impact. In good impact, we all know that social media is full of information and you will find and learn a lot
here, just like you are looking for information about your topic. On social media, you can easily find
information and ideas anywhere. News is also here, and because of social media, you can easily be updated
on what's going on around you. On social media, you can also share information, ideas, and also content.
And lastly, you can also earn money like an online job, doing videos on youtube, etc. In a bad impact, there
are so many bad impacts but I will give at least 2 bad impacts. The first one is social media can be a ground
for cyberbullying. Many cyberbullying incidents have been documented and happened on social media.
Some of the victims suffered great mental and emotional distress. Many would post their images and bashed
them. Netizens would post mean messages about them that would contribute to their emotional trauma and
damage. And then lastly, information on social media can be stolen and used. If you are not that careful
when you share your information on social media, some of your information can be stolen and used for
malicious intentions. This is called identity theft. An example of current trends is the Tiktok and Facebook
many people are obsessed with TikTok and Facebook because TikTok many people reduce their stress and
boredom. But it also has a bad impact on people, especially now in minors, many minors are overreacting
because they are about to show off their bodies. On Facebook, it has a good effect on our lives because here
we sometimes get news so that we can be updated around us, the bad effect on us is what is called bullying
or arguing on Facebook, especially among young people today.
