The city is considered in a type 1 climate, This implies the dry season of
the site is usually around December to April and wet season is from May to
November. The dry season coincides with cool weather while wet season is with the
tropical storms.
The City experiences a tropical climate, which is Am in the Koppen-
Geiger climate classification. Means there is significant rainfall for most of the year
which dry season is shorter that the wet season. With an approximately average
annual temperature of 26°C, the City has mean monthly figures that range from
25.6°C in January and 29.6°C in May. The climatological factors behind such
temperature patterns produce 792 mm of annual precipitation.
Cloud cover is highest in the month of June and the lowest in January. As the
City is along the Sierra Madre mountain range, orographic precipitation makes the
skies over cloudier than towns west of the City.
ADVANTAGES
- Very low risk of flood DISADVANTAGES
- Has many water source Has a high risk in landslide -
- Isolated area Moderate risk for erosion -
- Good site location for the project Moderate risk in air pollution -
- Has slight to moderate contour edges
- Has a good average temperature

COVID-19 CASES IN
THE PHILIPPINES
TODAY, PHILIPPINES IS IN THE STATE OF THE SPIKE OF
COVID-19 WHERE-IN THE INCREASE OF COVID CASES HAVE
INCREASED QUICKLY THIS 2021. AS THE NUMBER OF CASES
INCREASING, OUR STATS ARE ALMOST NEAR TO THE CASES
OF BIG COUNTRIES.
PROJECT SAGE
OUR TEAM WAS TASKED TO DESIGN AN INSTITUTIONAL FACILITY WITHIN THE SITE GIVEN. WHIT THIS TASK, WE
CONCLUDED WITH AN IDEA ON WHAT TO CONSTRUCT IN THE SITE. WITH THE PANDEMIC AS THE MAJOR NEWS IN
THE WHOLE WORLD AND OUR COUNTRY HAVING A SPIKE IN THE CASES OF COVID-19, THE BEST INSTITUTIONAL
FACILITY IS A MEDICAL RESEARCH CENTER. Project Sage AIMS TO CONSTRUCT A FACILITY FOCUSING ON
BIOINFORMATICS RESEARCH STUDIES. WITH THIS FACILITY, IT WOULD BENEFIT THE MEDICAL ECONOMY OF THE
COUNTRY INCREASING IN KNOWLEDGE, TECHNOLOGY, AND ECONOMY.
BIOINFORMATICS
interdisciplinary field that develops methods and software tools for understanding biological
data, in particular when the data sets are large and complex. As an interdisciplinary field of
science, bioinformatics combines biology, computer science, information engineering,
mathematics and statistics to analyze and interpret the biological data. Bioinformatics has been
used for in silico analyses of biological queries using mathematical and statistical techniques
PROJECT SAGE OBJECTIVES
• TO BE ABLE TO RESEARCH FOR PRESENT AND
FUTURE VIRUSES AND DISEASES.
