capabilities: as finish coat for Hempafloor Decorate Quartz and Flakes systems, as resin for
Hempafloor Decorate Pigment metallic flooring solutions and as high performance heavy
traffic clear epoxy coating.

*The physical constants stated are nominal data according to the Hempel Group's approved formulas.
They are subject to normal manufacturing tolerances and where stated, being standard deviation
according to ISO 3534-1.
**The theoretical spreading rate has been calculated for the stated volume solids and dry film
thickness. A practical spreading rate will depend on the actual dry film thickness, the nature of the
substrate and relevant consumption factor. The physical constants are subject to normal manufacturing
tolerances. Further references can be found in the "Explanatory Notes”.

Overcoat interval, max: 48 hours at 20°C
Safety: Handle with care before and during usage. Read all labels on packaging and paint
containers before usage, consult Hempel for any inquiries. Material Safety Data Sheets
follows all local and national safety regulation. Avoid inhalation; avoid contact with eyes and
skin. Do not swallow. Take precautions against possible risks of fire or explosion. Apply only
in well-ventilated areas. Remember to protect the environment.
Surface preparation: The surface should be stable, firm, dry and free from dust, sand, loose old paint, laitance,
dirt, grease and oil. Proper surface preparation is a must, mechanical surface preparation
is highly recommended.
Substrates: Concrete.
Application conditions: Application can only proceed at temperatures above 10°C, and relative humidity below
75%. Other sealer/filler types may be specified. Drying data are given on the assumption
that proper ventilation is provided. Hempafloor Prime 100 or Hempafloor Prime 420
should not be applied to concrete with more than 4% moisture content.
Filling: Hempafloor Fill 200. Recommendation: apply primer/sealer prior to the application of a
specified filler.
Base coat: When used as resin for Decorative Metallic flooring system: apply one coat of
Hempafloor Traffic 520, Hempafloor Durable 300 or Hempafloor Self-level 200 in Black
shade. For further information, please consult our Method Statements for the individual
systems.
Mixing: Hempafloor Decorate 600 is a two-component material (base and curing agent), which
must be mechanically mixed together prior to use. Pour curing agent to base container and
mix until a homogeneous form by using a low speed drill (300 - 400 rpm) and suitable
buddle for at least 3-4 minutes.
Application: As topcoat on broadcasted flakes and quartz systems: Apply the mixed product with
a flat squeegee over the rough quartz or flake surface. Back rolling is typical done with
an epoxy roller. For further details, please consult the individual Method Statements.
Storage & handling: Product must be stored as per local regulation. Keep in dry and ventilated location, far
from heat and direct sunlight.
Remarks: Epoxy coatings will yellow, chalk and lose gloss over a period when exposed to direct or
diffused sunlight. Yellowing is a surface phenomenon attributed to the chemical nature of
the resin with natural darkening. Degree of yellowing can vary from product to product
but is generally more obvious in pale shades. This has no influence on the function and
performance of the coating.
