Unit 2 Who Am I?

Instructions:
1. Teacher writes occupations on sticky notes or papers and attaches it to the
pupils’ back.
2. Pupils walk around the classroom and ask questions about their occupations.
3. Pupils try to guess the occupations based on the answers given.

Unit 3 Blind Artist


Instructions for teachers:
1. Pair the pupils, but do not let them face each other.
2. Give one pupil a picture or an image.
3. The second pupil has to draw the picture while his partner describes it without
revealing what it is.

Unit 8 Slam the Flash Card

Instructions for teachers:


1. Prepare flash cards of different places. Prepare a few sets.
2. Divide the pupils into groups and get them to sit in circles.
3. Lay each set of flash cards on the floor ( for each group).
4. Say ‘Touch the (place)’ and pupils quickly slam on the correct cards.

Unit 10 Ask-N-Guess

Instructions for teachers:


1. Select a few pupils and ask them to stand in front of the class.
2. Prepare word cards. Ask each of them to choose an animal.
Instruction for pupils:
Ask each of the selected pupils a few questions to guess what animal he/ she
chooses.

Example: Pupil A chooses a rabbit.

Pupil : What colour is the animal?


Pupil A : It’s white.
Pupil : Is it big?
Pupil A : No, it isn’t. It is small.
Pupil : What does it like to eat?
Pupil A : It likes carrots and leafy vegetables.
Pupil : Does it have a tail?
Pupil A : Yes, it has a short tail.
