Review of comparative adjectives

■ To compare two things, remember to use the comparative form of the adjective.
■ Add –er to shorter adjectives. Sometimes, the last consonant is doubled.

Review of irregular comparative adjectives

Remember that some adjectives are irregular in the comparative form.

Comparing two things

Use the word than to compare two things. When using more than and less than,
you only use the base form of the adjective.

This house is older than that house.

My flat is more expensive than your house.

The kitchen is bigger than the living room.

Your neighbour is less friendly than my neighbour.
