April walks around the corner of her street and gets passed
by Nate on a bike. She stops to watch, while the boy on the
bike looks back at her.

APRIL MCFARLANE (NARRATION)

It's funny how you can live in the
same town your whole life, pass by the
same people everyday, but you never
really get to know them, and they
never get to know you.

INT. MELODY BEDROOM - DAY

April's alarm clock goes off. She snoozes it and then above
shot of her opening her eyes in bed.

EXT. SIDEWALK OUTSIDE MELS HOUSE - DAY

Film multiple clips of April in different clothes, but the

same place over and over again to show that it's different
days, but she's always in the same routine.

APRIL MCFARLANE (NARRATION)

This is me, everyday I wake up and
live the same boring life on repeat.

EXT. RE MOUNTAIN - DAY

INT. HALLWAY - DAY

Dolly out/tracking shot of April walks down the hallway

looking lonely. Dolly in/tracking shot going down the hallway
where kids are seen laughing with their friends.

The movies told me high school would
be the best 4 years of my life, that
was a lie. The truth is I've had 4
years to figure out where I belong,
everybody has somebody, except me.
Here I am, senior year, with no
friends.

April sits outside by herself drinking a slurpee being all

sad and lonely.

INT. MELODY BEDROOM - DAY

April sits on her bed on facetime on laptop talking to Wah

Paw.

WAH PAW
April you can't keep living like this,
avoiding everyone because you're
scared of people

APRIL MCFARLANE
I am not scared of people!

WAH PAW
Mhmm sure, go say hi to someone then

EXT. OUTSIDE SCHOOL

April starts walking over to a group of TC kids. She is

nervous.

APRIL (WHISPERS UNDER BREATH)

I can do this

April gets close to the group and reaches out her hand. She
gets too scared to say anything, then turns around and starts
to walk away.

APRIL (WHISPERS UNDER BREATH)

I can't do this

Her name is called as she walks away.

NATE
April?

April stops, but doesn't turn around. Camera focusses in on

Nate.

NATE
Do you wanna join us?

EXT. RICHARD BULLPIT

(scenes of nate laughing, scenes of april too. lots of random

candid stuff. maybe drone shot of them dancing on the field)

April walking behind Nate. She stops.

APRIL MCFARLANE
I just don't get how you can be so
carefree all the time

Nate turns around and laughs.

NATE
That's because you worry too much!

Nate throws his hands up in the air

NATE
Don't think about stuff, just do it!

He turns back around and continues his journey.

EXT. OUTSIDE LITERALLY ANYWHERE..PROBABLY RICHARD BULLPIT

Nate and Melody eating sushi, doing weird cheers with the
sushi together. Someone can miss their mouth, or drop one.
