 California lawmakers are fighting for more access to women that want to go for abortion.

 The California Sen. Christine Kehoe, D- San Diego, is passing a bill, which allows nurses

practitioners, physicians’ assistants, and certified nurses to practice the abortion

procedure when there is not a presence of a doctor.

 Meanwhile, different States are singing a law that requires ultrasounds and specific time

period to perform an abortion and California wants the opposite.

 Religious and conservative groups still on the opposition.

 The supporters want to get les time to perform the abortion instead of nine weeks period

to do it.

 The opponents concern with this bill is not only the dangerous the procedure can be, it is

also that in case of any complications the patients are in the hands of a certified doctor

not just some one who qualified because is in certain way in the health field.

The article is very informative, not only for California also for the entire nation, because

there are a lot of people who are against it and in favor of it. Also the article is very clear in

concern to an issue that has been around the world for decades and is not going to be resolve.

I think that the debate is going to be very long and the bill is not going to be approved, is

very risky for the patient.

I am a person who is not against abortion, because it all depends of the circumstances of

the person who is carrying the baby, but I am not agreeing that anyone can just practice the

procedure. I don’t think that we can get to the point of allowing anyone to do this procedure

just because it is a long term period that have to be awaiting, is just unnecessary to put your

life in someone’s hands that is uncertain if can handle an emergency. The opinions of people

doesn’t have to be necessarily a religious person, I think that is a concern to everyone who

doesn’t want to put in risk any life. The bill is out of contest in my opinion.
