future will in different colors.
Hello! My name is Shawn and I want to talk about my family. My family is not very big. My
mother and father live in a flat in London but a few years ago they lived in France. My
father works in an insurance company, and my mom is a nurse.
I share a flat with two friends and currently I’m not working but I will in a few months
because I want to save money for travelling next year.
I have two sisters, Lucy and Millie, they live together in Southampton but Lucy will go to
Australia soon, so Millie is going to live alone again but that’s not a problem because she
said “I might live with my boyfriend in that case”.
I have a girlfriend too, her name is Ashley, and she is Italian. I could write a lot about how
much I love her but what I love the most about her is her dog. I love to go out for a walk
with Ashley and her dog, one day we walked for 3 hours and we taught the dog to grab a
stick.
At weekends, Lucy and Millie come to London and the whole family have lunch together.
Sometimes one of our aunts or uncles come, too. I don’t know how the familiar weekends
will be without Lucy!
My grandparents are very old, and they live in a small cottage in Plymouth. They’re my
mother’s parents. My father’s parents died years ago. My grandparents are retired, and
spend most of their time gardening, walking and having tea with their friends. They will
probably live with my parents soon.
A few times a year, I go to spend some time with my grandparents, my grandmother makes
excellent fruit pies. Sometimes, my cousins come, too, and we all have a great time.
