Overview
When applications are delivered over an existing production network, a successful deployment depends on
knowing the solution will perform to expectations under the conditions that actually exist on the network.
Anue Systems Profiler captures live network conditions that can be imported into the GEM network emulator
to recreate the same conditions in a test bed.

Challenges
Applications running over IP networks are subjected to widely varying conditions:
•  Network conditions inevitably include impairments, which are dependent
on many factors, including the design of the network, the traffic
running on it, and the distances spanned
•  The effect of the many variables on network conditions and the
exact nature and intensity of the impairments can be difficult to
predict
