11. Là một tỉnh nằm ở vị trí địa lý cuối cùng của đồng bằng Nam bộ, Cà Mau có những đặc
điểm khác biệt với một số địa phƣơng trong vùng nhƣ: bờ biển dài, 3 mặt giáp biển với ngƣ
trƣờng rộng lớn; có rừng ngập trên 110.000 ha với hai hệ sinh thái rừng tràm U Minh hạ và
hệ sinh thái rừng đƣớc Cà Mau với điểm nhấn Bãi bồi Mũi Cà Mau ―Độc nhất vô nhị‖.

12. Ngày 26/5/2009, Tổ chức UNESCO đã chính thức công nhận Mũi Cà Mau là Khu dự trữ

quốc gia U Minh hạ và dãy rừng phòng hộ ven biển Tây.

với các di tích lịch sử văn hoá, đặc trƣng văn hoá của cƣ dân vùng biển Cà Mau; du lịch địa
lý Mũi Cà Mau - điểm cực nam của Tổ quốc.

doanh vốn thông qua tổ chức chuyên nghiệp là Tổng công ty Đầu tƣ và kinh doanh vốn nhà

hữu vốn nhà nƣớc cho Tổng công ty ĐT&KDVNN.

11. Cơ cấu tổ chức của Tổng công ty gồm Hội đồng quản trị, Hội đồng tƣ vấn, các Ủy ban
