Living Your Design, Rave ABCs and Rave Cartography are General Education Courses.
They give you an excellent foundation in Human Design to support you in living your
design. In addition, these are the prerequisite courses needed to enter into more
advanced areas of general study or professional certification.
These courses are open to anyone with an interest in Human Design.
Living Your Design Course

The Living Your Design Workshop is a life-transforming journey. This course is open
to anyone who has had a Human Design Reading, this workshop teaches the most
important foundational and transformational aspects of The Human Design System.
The Human Design System empowers us to live according to our own true nature,
and to know what is correct or not for us through our unique Strategy and Authority.
We can use this information to keep ourselves on our path in life by specifically
understanding what takes us off track.
The information in the Living Your Design Course leads you down an incredible path
of self-discovery and knowledge. Once you have had a reading it can be of
tremendous benefit to deepen your understanding of your own specific Strategy and
Authority and the conditioning you have experienced. It can assist you with your own
personal experimentation as well as clarify what it means for you to Live Your
Design.

Rave ABC Course
Once the Living Your Design course is complete, many students find they are
interested in learning even more about the Human Design System. Whether a
student wants to become an analyst or simply become more informed, this course is
the next step.
Rave ABCs is the first level of the IHDS general educational and professional tracks. It
is designed to satisfy a student’s curiosity about the origins of Human Design and the
basics revealed in a BodyGraph, while laying a solid educational foundation for the
development of informed general students and/or skilled analysts.
Covering the origins of Human Design and introducing the basic components that
make up the synthesis known as the Human Design System, this course is designed
to show how all these pieces fit together to form the BodyGraph. Total course study
time is approximately 20 hours.

Rave Cartography
Rave Cartography is the second level of general and professional IHDS education and
serves as a prerequisite for all advanced education. Adding depth to the foundation
built in Rave ABCs, together these two courses provide enough tools to have a basic
solid Human Design foundation. They offer a greater understanding of yourself and
the world around you. Total course study time is approximately 48 hours.

Living Your Design Guide Program
The Living Your Design Guide (LYDG) training is designed to educate, prepare, and
certify Living Your Design Guides to support newcomers in the experiment of living
their design.
The Living Your Design Guide Training is designed to effectively teach many of the
basics of Human Design as it relates to type, strategy, authority and conditioning.
This course offers 3 distinct components which provides students/Guides in training
with the information and techniques necessary to assist newcomers in starting their
7-year deconditioning process. In this course Guides will learn how to assist others in
understanding their own personal conditioning by using examples, experiential
techniques, discussions and personal experiences. Certified LYD Guides also qualify
for Professional listings on the International Human Design School and Jovian
Archive websites, and where appropriate, on the Human Design National
Organization website of the country where they reside.
Duration: This course is offered as either an in-person (recommended over 4

weekends) or an online program with live, in-class participation scheduled over 1
semester and completion of certification requirements dependent on student
delivery and LYDG teacher approval. Total course time is estimated at 40-50 hours.

Living Your Design Guide Certification – Focus One: Theory and Methodology: In this
focus, the methodology and content of a LYD workshop is covered and reviewed,
including the following: • Guides are taught how to present this material in such a
way to encourage a newcomer’s awareness of their conditioned patterns. • Guides
will be trained to teach newcomers about their personal strategies and special
techniques to support them in their 7-year deconditioning and experimentation
process. • There will be an emphasis on how to present the content while exploring
various teaching tips and techniques. • Education gaps will be filled while deepening
the Guides personal understanding of their own design. • Guides will dive deeper
into their own ability to live and model their design. • We will explore proven
methods for content delivery and flow. • We will use personal examples and
techniques to help the newcomer further understand this journey of self-exploration.
• Guides will receive downloadable audios covering the theory and methodologies
originally established by Ra Uru Hu in 2005. • These audios cover Ra's approach for
properly initiating a newcomer into the experiment of following one’s strategy and
authority.
Completion Requirement: Participation in class discussions and review of all

downloadable materials.
Focus Two: Preparation and Practice: In this focus, students are given instructional
support for the preparation and practice of delivery of LYD content, including the
following: • Guides will be supported in their planning and delivery preparation as
professionals. • In the practicum portion of this program students prepare, practice,
live presentation skills and deliver LYD modules. • This work is done with recorded
homework assignments and also with live presentations to fellow class participants. •
There will be interactive class discussions, feedback sessions, and private written
online discussion forums requiring live participation. • The emphasis of this segment
of the course is on gaining practical experience. • You will receive and offer
collaborative support in class, while increasing self-confidence and clarity about your
own unique style/voice as a Guide. • Within this program we will review enrichment
topics that encourage professional planning and preparation of your own LYD
workshop to take place once this certification process is complete.
Completion Requirement: Demonstration of live presentation skills, and

presentation/delivery of one or more LYD modules.
Focus Three: Observation of a real Living Your Design Workshop: In this focus,
students will participate and/or audit a live Living Your Design workshop conducted
by an IHDS Certified Living Your Design Guide Teacher.
Completion Requirement: Written or verbal observations of class room dynamics

while auditing or participating in a live Living Your Design Workshop.
Professional Training Level I
Chart Analysis
The goal of PTL-I is to develop professional level analytical skills. In this year long,
three-semester course, prospective analysts learn the detail level of Human Design,
and how to synthesize the BodyGraph. Through monthly study programs, and
written and digitally recorded oral homework projects, students learn to integrate
this detail into their surface level analysis skills. They will also practice and learn to
Keynote, and learn the art of synthesizing a Human Design chart. Oral repetition will
be stressed throughout to solidify competence, aid memorization, and develop
chart-reading skills. Total study time is a minimum of 200 hours over the year.

Professional Training Level II
Connection Analysis – Semester One
This is Level II of the Professional Analyst Training. Completion of all 4 Levels is

required for certification. PTL-II is a two-semester program and is an interactive
workshop that delivers extensive new content and approach. In the first semester,
students will learn to give Connection (relationship) readings and the basic keys in
relationship analysis. Students will be required to submit an analysis to demonstrate
their grasp of the material.

Cycle Analysis – Semester Two
In PTLII, semester two, students will learn the formula and technique for providing

Professional Training Level III
Incarnation Crosses Analysis
This course covers Incarnation Cross Analysis in the context of the Quarter. You will
learn how to do Incarnation Cross Readings with a focus on understanding and
learning the formula for keynoting the Incarnation Crosses. This is an interactive
course where you will practice Incarnation Cross Readings.
Our purpose is expressed through our Incarnation Cross – but this can only be
achieved after we have entered into the experiment of Strategy and Authority, and
deconditioning. Your gifts and purpose are expressed through your Incarnation
Cross once you are operating correctly in the world. As an Incarnation Cross Analyst,
you will be certified to perform these readings on completion of all Professional
Training Levels. Total study time is 48 hours.

Professional Preparation and Final Test
PTL-IV is the final level of the professional analyst training to become a certified
Human Design Analyst. The goal of PTL-IV is to guide and mentor you as you prepare
for submitting your final reading to the testing Board for certification. During the
course of the semester, we will work together on honing your reading skills. We will
look at the structure and organization of your individual client readings.
Each Analyst is unique and has their own style for interacting with clients. However,
there is basic material that must be covered in every reading with a new client. We
will discover your preference and dynamics for delivering that information in a
reading.
A reading is a synthesis of your years of training in the knowledge of Human Design

and the art of delivering that knowledge. We will explore each week, through
examples and practice readings, all the key elements necessary to introduce a client
to their Human Design. This class is a workshop-style class. It will be very interactive
with each participant. You will have many chances to practice your reading skills.
Each student will add to the richness of the class. Not only will you get to practice
your style, but also you'll get to see and benefit from the other class participant’s
styles.
Our goal for this class is for you to produce a final exam reading at the end of the
semester.

Child Development Analyst Training
Course Description
Every child has their own unique path, their own purpose, and unique way in which
their purpose is realized.
Human Design, first and foremost is for children. Children’s experience of the
benefits of Human Design can be immediate, as well as long reaching, in the
realization of their potential as 9-Centered humans. All of this depends upon the
development and the ability of their parents to provide them with the necessary
foundation for living out their uniqueness.
It is through the parent and their development, that the experiment of Human
Design can be transmitted most effectively to the child. Therefore, it is essential for
parents to have a strong foundation in their own experiment, as well as learn the
practice of some essential tools in order to guide their children to their own unique
experience of their life. The role of the Child Development Analyst is two-fold: to
educate the parent; so that, the parent can then provide effective guidance for their
child.
In this training program you will be provided with the essential aspects of working
with parents and children: understanding the 9-Centered childhood and brain
development, understanding the role of parents, and the care for the child’s unique
body. How to support the emergence of strategy and authority, also recognition of
openness and aura interaction, and parent-child communication dynamics through
Human Design mechanics.
This is a certification course: for certification, each student will present a written or
recorded Child Development Analysis as a final exam. Week by week, step by step,
we will take you through each of the aspects of preparing and presenting a Child
Development Analysis.
The course format consists of both weekly live class practice, discussion, and
feedback for the student, and recorded lectures each week. The weekly experiments
are related to the class topic, providing exercises using the student’s parent-child
example to practice both the mechanics and art of working with parents and their
children.

Science of Differentiation College

The Differentiation Degree Program
The Science of Differntiation College was founded by Ra Uru Hu in 2005. The College
began with its focus on Primary Health System and Rave Psychology. These fields
represent the most advanced and profound areas of study in Human Design and
encompass the layers of mechanical information to be found in the sub-structure of
Lines. Color, Tone and Base are at the heart of these studies.
Ra personally introduced these programs and taught 2 three-year certification

programs in each discipline. This was an extraordinary experience for teacher and
students. Since then, Ra specialized in post-graduate studies with a focus on Holistic
Analysis, which combines PHS and Rave Psychology mechanics for the purpose of
analysis. This final semester leads to a certification in Holistic Analysis.
I have reached a point in my career where my focus is not on
revealing but elaborating. As a teacher, when I repeat a teaching, I
always refine the original and expand the data. After years of
teaching these programs I am ready to compress, refine and
elaborate.
Ra Uru Hu
The International Human Design School offers the Differentiation Degree Program,
leading to a certification as both a PHS Practitioner and Rave Psychologist after all
prerequisites, testing and Diploma Thesis have been met and formally certified by
the teacher.
The DD Program combines the knowledge of the Structures underneath the Lines of
the Design and Personality - PHS (Primary Health System – the enhancement of the
Form) and Rave Psychology (the enrichment of the Mind). It will be taught in one
Program to get an insight of the holistic perspective of the fine tuned differentiation
of each individual.
It is a 2-year program that includes 6 Semesters and 120 hours of study. The
certification process includes one written and one oral exam and a diploma thesis.
One additional semester for Holistic Analysis Certification will also be provided.
The PHS Practitioner & Rave Psychologist enables and guides the client in a process
through the deconditioning of the mental body of the Not Self and the 4 Steps of
Transformation: Primary Health System, Internal/External (dietary regimen &
environment) Rave Psychology, External/Internal (perspective & awareness) to aim
the highest goal to be a true awakened consciousness in form, the true Passenger
with its unique outer authority.

The Mechanics of the Maia
This Program begins with a historical view where everything began, the quantum
Illusion at its start and the start of life, the "Life" of the Neutrino Biverse and the
unique individual human life. The first semester gives an overview of the structures
underneath the lines in an unusual perspective that is from the "bottom-up"
(Base-Tome-Color -Line - Hexagram - Chart), instead of what has been taught on the
surface of the quantum illusion from the "top to the bottom" (chart down to the line

The second semester has its focus on the mental body of the not-self, which is the

The 4 Steps of Transformation
The journey of the 4 Steps of Transformation starts with the differentiation of the
body, because the body is housing and limiting the mental consciousness. The
enhancement of the body nourishes itself is through the digestive process. The 6
dietary regimes that emerge from an understanding of Color as an agent of evolution
will be explored. Through the combination of Strategy and PHS dietary regime the
form increasingly recovers to its original cognitive sensitivity. This is translated into a
different way of resonating to the world, both physically and psychologically. It is in
the correct environment that connects the life on the outside to enable life quality
and longevity. Being in the correct environment enables the individual to get to see
the things that are intended to see. Once all the frequencies of the vehicle’s life and
the perspective have been properly aligned, the personality is ready for the

science. Nowhere is this so true as in this last part of this certification program. Here
the mechanical information revealed on the surface and the level beneath the line

This final semester leads to a certification in Holistic Analysis:
The original Holistic Analysis training delivered by Ra Uru Hu was a 3 semester

postgraduate program. It integrated the Primary Health System (PHS), Rave
Psychology, Variable, Lunar & Planetary Resonance and Base Orientation knowledge
with traditional chart interpretation.
The Differentiation Degree Program as it is taught today, includes most of the

Holistic Analysis training taught by Ra, and has its focus on the 4 Transformations.
Students of the Differentiation Degree Program are educated to guide clients in
process work through the 4 Transformational Steps.
A Holistic Analysis provides the Client with a specific insight of their BodyGraph, and
therefore life. Due to the complexity of the larger genetic matrix, especially at the
deeper levels of the BodyGraph, it is important that the client has thoroughly worked
in the different processes of the 4 Transformational Steps before they receive a
Holistic Analysis. Only then will a Holistic Analysis be helpful and give the client a
complete view of their Differentiated Potential.
The Holistic Analysis one-semester postgraduate program enables the

Differentiation Degree Program Graduates to give the most sophisticated Holistic
Analysis in The Human Design System. This semester is a very practice oriented
interactive training that requires live participation of all students.

DreamRave Analyst Certification
The synthesis of Human Design with the DreamRave matrix opens new vistas to
understanding yourself and others, the nature of consciousness, and the deep
conditioning that impacts us in our waking life. One-third of our life is spent sleeping
and will be programmed by the Neutrino stream in a different way through a
5-centered matrix. When we sleep, the real work gets done without personality
resistance and vanity. DreamRave is a mystical journey, taking us to where the real
program gets delivered to all of us.
The DreamRave Analyst Certification Program starts with the foundation of sleeping
and dreaming from the scientific perspective and traditional analysis leading to the
four stages of the DreamRave Analysis, from the Human Design perspective. This is a
highly interactive education in both a lecture and clinic style that enables every
participant to have a personal DreamRave understanding and analysis in order to
have enough experience for future clients.
The program takes 3 semesters and closes with an oral exam. Certified candidates
will be trained to give the 4 stages of DreamRave Analysis, and work with the clients
in a process oriented manner. Degree and certification will be provided once you
have received your IHDS Analyst Certification.

The Rave Sociology Program
The Rave Sociology is the broadest of all fields in the Human Design System. Its main
topic is Group Dynamics and the resulting sociological themes and movements in
humanity. In the Human Design System there is a distinct difference between small
and large Group Dynamics. The underlying trans-auric form mechanic has a special
impact in each Individual, dependent on the unique genetic makeup.
This certification program teaches deep insights into the trans-auric dynamics that
impact society and the individual in a group setting, that results in the social

In addition, we cover various topics of the many themes in The Human Design
System, such as Rave History, Rave Cosmology, Dream Rave, Rave Psychology and
Primary Health System to get a comprehensive insight in the concurrent courses that
have lead to the social structures and social dynamics that we live in today.
This certification program is five semesters, and closes with the student writing an
article on an applicable topic, and an oral exam. Certified candidates will learn to
analyze social (Penta & Wa) profile for individuals and groups and to give
introductory lectures and workshops on that topic.

have completed the OC16 Program with Ra Uru Hu.

Introduction and Foundation
This semester sets the foundation of the Rave Sociology Certification Program. It
gives an understanding how individuals creates social structures based on the
Human Design mechanics that form trans-auric forms when we come together as a
group. It shows the genetic mechanisms that create the area of tension for every
human being – the human being with its unique needs for an authentic life and it’s
need to be social and live in groups. This is the tension of conditioning and true self.

foundation of the conditioning mechanism that is present today in the individual life

new species, and which also explains why the transitory 9 centered human is
necessary today.

The Wa and the Gene pool
This semester has its focus on the trans-auric form and is mechanic of large groups.

the large social environment of the gene pool. The Wa mechanisms will be
deconstructed in its elements and the functionality will be shown in detail to
understand the larger social dynamics and the roles of the Authorities in society that
influence and condition the individuals to certain group behaviors due to the lines of
communication that will not be experienced in a secluded Environment.

Program
Rave Cosmology is the esoteric and mystical side of The Human Design System.
For the first 18 years after the birth of Human Design, Ra Uru Hu focused on what
was logical and empirical about Human Design. He often said: “Don’t believe me and
do not trust me. Try it for yourself; test it for yourself. This is mechanical knowledge
that can be tested by each and everyone of us”.
Ra did not want to be worshiped as a Guru or be placed on a pedestal. He did not

want to create followers or believers, yet he accepted the role of messenger, as he
wanted to empower you to be your own authority by giving you practical tools to live
your life according to your true nature.
Nothing has concerned me more than the legitimacy of this
knowledge. It is why it is so important for me to explore the
depths of design and personality to get to the very core and
foundation of the knowledge. This is a true science, and it is a
miracle science.

a responsibility to bring forward the mystical side of Human Design by sharing his
