attractions such as Kirirom National Park, Ampe Phnom resort, Cheav waterfall and
Aural mountain.

- Kirirom National Park is one of the major natural tourist attractions in Kampong
Speu province. Many people always want to come and relax there.
- It is an area adorned with natural forests, waterfalls and the sound of cries of
animals, which makes tourists feel relaxed and happy.
 They always want to take photo with the natural forest, especially the pine
trees and waterfalls.
 On the other hand, they like to camp there and at night they will have a
small party with singing with guitar.

- Ampe Phnom is a cultural and natural resort with a view of the river flowing
through a combination of small and large trees growing along the river.
 At the foot of Ampe Phnom mountain, there is a swing bridge that crosses
from one shore.

Topic: My hometown

I was born in Kampong Spue province. Kampong Speu Province is one of 25 provinces
of the Kingdom of Cambodia. It is about 56 kilometers from Phnom Penh. Chbar Mon city is
the capital of Kampong Speu Province. Speu is the Khmer word for starfruit, but Kampong
Speu is actually famous for its palm sugar and many other tourist attractions such as Kirirom
National Park, Ampe Phnom resort, Cheav waterfall and Aural mountain. What are the great
points of all the above tourist sites?

Firstly, Kirirom National Park is one of the major natural tourist attractions in Kampong
Speu province. Many people always want to come and relax there. Another, it is an area adorned
with natural forests, waterfalls and the sound of cries of animals, which makes tourists feel
relaxed and happy. Most of the tourists who come to visit Kirom are from Phnom Penh. They
always want to take photo with the natural forest, especially the pine trees and waterfalls. On
the other hand, they like to camp there and at night they will have a small party with singing
with guitar.

Secondly, Ampe Phnom is a cultural and natural resort with a view of the river flowing
through a combination of small and large trees growing along the river. At the foot of Ampe
Phnom mountain, there is a swing bridge that crosses from one shore to the other connect to
Taing Tonle village. In the Ampe Phnom area, you can take a bath, cross the swing bridge and
sit in the stalls along the river to relax. For leisure seating, Ampe Phnom Resort has many stalls
for tourists and also has a live ordering service from there.

Thirdly, Cheav waterfall is one of the popular natural tourism sites. There is a beautiful
waterfall near Aural mountain. It’s about 115 km from Phnom Penh city and a 2.5 hours car
drive. The attractions of Chreav Waterfall are swimming, seeing mountain views, having a
picnic, and enjoy the nature view along the way. Visitors can park directly at the location. In
the area, there are many places for you to sit and enjoy your food or order from the food station.
Currently, there is an accommodation in the area that is Noah’s Art resort.

Fourth, Aural mountain is located in the Cardamon Mountains, is the highest peak in
Cambodia. It lies 1813 meters above sea level. Currently, the Aural area has remarkable
potential and some tourists come here to visit. Tourists who visit here always want to climb the
highest mountain to admire the beautiful natural forest. When they climb the mountain, they
will see big and tall trees and also many species of birds. Moreover, Aural also has a waterfall
that allows tourists to enjoy with the cool water.
 In conclusion, Kampong Spue is a beautiful province in Cambodia. After all, it is a
province rich in tourist destinations that boost Cambodia's tourism and economy are better. I
think my hometown, Kampong Spue can became a province with great potential in the future.
