Abstract

My research topic was “NSU student’s perspective about the food quality of Kasundi”. By doing
this research I wanted to find out what students thinking about NSU canteen foods. Are they
happy? Are they satisfied? I wanted to know there feedback. Is kasundi manage Price and Foods
quality relationship positively? How kasundi can overcome it. So many students come from
outside of Dhaka, they don’t live with their family, and they have to spend money very sincerely.
Then I made a survey to confirm it. After doing my survey I got my answer. And maximum NSU
students give their opinions. And I also found they agree with me about kasundi foods and price
issue. And my hypothesis proved correct.

Introduction
Food is an important thing for our life, which needs for human being. And canteens play an
important role in daily nutrition of students. There will be food in daily routine. Food is a main
source of human body, which makes fresh every day. But there are quality matters in foods. That
is why Nestle says a quote, “Good food, Good life”.

The focus of my research will be on NSU student’s perspective about the food quality of Kashundi
and also the price issue. Because I noticed that, there are two type of people who take heavy foods
or lunch from Kashundi (canteen) and other don’t take heavy food or just take snacks from
Kashundi (canteen). Some students come from rich family and some are from middle class family.
Beside some are come from outside of Dhaka and living in a bachelor way and they expense money
sincerely. I don’t know what is the problem? Is food quality is not good? Or price is high? Or the
price and food quality relationship is negative? But I hope, I will get my question answer through
my research.

Background

Cafeteria alludes to within bottle of the multi sorts of associations like school, school, college,
office, is a sort of food administration place where individuals don't need to hang tight for the staff
table assistance. Food is a main source of human body, which makes fresh every day. But there
are quality matters in foods. The focus of my research will be on NSU student’s perspective about
the food quality of Kashundi and also the price issue. Because I noticed that, there are two type of
people who take heavy foods or lunch from Kashundi (canteen) and other don’t take heavy food
or just take snacks from Kashundi (canteen). Some students come from rich family and some are
from middle class family. Beside some are come from outside of Dhaka and living in a bachelor
way and they expense money sincerely. Kasundi always claim that their food quality is good. We
realize that NSU bring "Kashundi" rather than old cafeteria. So they likewise guarantee that their
food quality is acceptable. In any case, last time NSU cafeteria got fine for undesirable kitchen.
Likewise got fine for superfluous cost by "Vokta Odhikar Shongrokkhon Odhidoptor". I am not
saying that cafeteria food quality is too bad. They are also good but when you compare the price
then raised the question. Having spent my 3 years study at NSU and I have observed that maximum
students suffer for this issue. In fact my friends also suffer. We took cafeteria food before but it
was really tough to take foods everyday due to high price and food quality issue. Understudies of
the University of Peshawar have contracted food contamination in the wake of eating unacceptable
food at the varsity's container. Be that as it may, the college organization has denied their
sicknesses are brought about by unhygienic food served at the cafeteria.

While conversing with The Express Tribune on Tuesday, Khyber Teaching Hospital Casualty
Registrar Dr Syed Assad Maroof said they get 15 to 20 understudies from UoP consistently who
have contracted food contamination.

Since the pilot concentrate in 2002, just about 33% of every optional school in The Netherlands
have worked with the program [3]. In 2006-2007, 11% of every single optional school took an
interest; in 2010-2011, 29% demonstrated to have taken part in the program over the most recent
four years [3], which is a considerable increment. To rouse schools to select the program, a Healthy

opposition moves schools to present an activity plan that portrays the means they will take to make
a more advantageous food offering. Following a half year, a report must be delivered, in which the
accomplished objectives are depicted. The school that has achieved the most basic changes will
win the honor.

issue and find out what significant changes they need. I will also design a questionnaire with
different types of questions so as to get a range of useful data which will help me to answer my
research questions.

manage Price and foods quality relationship positively. And all 29 students try to give me there
different opinions, feedback and recommendation about how can kasundi manage price and foods

Findings
Based on my primary research, I have found majority of NSU students not satisfied with
kasundi foods. And also they care about their money and care about their health. That’s
why they want good quality of foods and also quantity matters. Many NSU students agree
with me about kasundi foods price and quality are not equal. The price is higher than the
quality of foods kasundi provides. And also hygiene and cleanliness is an issue. Some of
students said that the quality of ingredients used by Kasundi in Foods Processing is not so
good. They need to maintain it properly. So this are the things I found after my primary
research.

Recommendations
I want to give some suggestion about canteen. First of all NSU authority need to strict about
kasundi activity. Then authority try to give some rules and regulation about foods making process.
Authority need to fix the price. Kasundi needs honesty in their business.

Conclusion
I have observed that most of the NSU students not satisfied with NSU canteen (kasundi) foods. I
am not saying that canteen food quality is too bad. They are also good but when you compare the
price then raised the question. So, I think NSU canteen should fixed this issue and also NSU
Authority take some necessary steps. That can helps us. In my hypothesis I said that maybe NSU
student’s perspective about the food quality is not good and price is high. And in my research it’s
proved. So, I think my hypothesis is proved.
