“Travel Ban For Travelers from China”

NCoV (Novel Corona Virus) has been spreading all through out the world, and

we all know that this life-threatening virus originated from Wuhan, China. And the

Chinese people have been suffering from this virus since 2019.

Recently, there was an official statement from the Angel Salazar Memorial

General Hospital that there's a patient being quarantined held under observation

because of the said virus. Our province's Congresswoman Loren Legarda officially

banned Chinese tourists from entering our province. But do we really need to be

anxious? In my own perspective, we NEED TO BE ALERT, NOT ANXIOUS.

Implementing TRAVEL BAN for travelers entering our country from any territory of

China, is just to keep our fellow countrymen safe; and I agree in this implementation.

So far, because of the Travel Ban of Chinese tourists here in our province, there

are no recent news of new patients being reported to have diagnosed NCoV. There

were 400+ patients probed by DOH for diagnose before showing off symptoms, but

out of these numbers of patients, almost half of them were turned out negative from

NCoV. If implementing Travel Ban raise the percentage of our countrymen to be safe

from this virus, then we have to do what's best for the welfare of Filipinos, our

welfare.
