How to Package Screen Shots

Some of your Lab Assignments do not require you to submit a text file
containing your Java source code or a completely packaged Java project
(See Also “How to Package a Netbeans Project”).
In these cases, all you need to submit is a word processing document that
contains your information and screen shots showing several cases of your
program executing successfully.
1. Start by opening a word processing document that is compatible with
Microsoft Word.
2. Add your Full Name on the first line. Press the Enter Key.
3. Identify the Lab Assignment on the next line. To complete Lab
Assignment 1, add “Lab Assignment 1” on the next line. Press the Enter Key.
4. Identify the Programming Exercise for which you are about to display a
successful execution. For example, add “Pay where hours < 40.” on the next
line. Press the Enter Key once more.
5. Run the Java program you created to solve the first part of the
programming exercise.
6. Make sure the output from the program is displayed completely.
Then press the “Print Screen” key. Your screen has been copied into the
computer’s clipboard memory. You will not hear anything. You will not see a
message indicating that anything happened.
7. In your word processing document, press Control-V to Paste the screen
image from the clipboard into your document. Press the Enter Key.
8. Submit at least three (3) screen shots of three different successful
executions of each program you are asked to create.
9. When you are asked to complete multiple tasks, identify and show the
output from all requested tasks.
10. Save the word processing document using a file name that looks like
“XYLabN”, where “X” and “Y” are your first and last initials and “N” is the
Lab Assignment number. When Joe Bagadonutz submits Lab Assignment 1,
he will save the word processing file he creates as “JBLab1”.
11. Submit your work by uploading the file to Blackboard. (See Also “How to
Submit Assignments”).
