Passage 1 The prestige of Vietnam

In the past few years, the international prestige of heroic Vietnam has been further enhanced.
Its example has convinced peoples all over the world of the invincible strength of militant
alliance between socialism and the forces of national liberation. Vietnam has made a huge
contribution to the common revolutionary cause and the world liberation process. Its victory
has strengthened the position of the anti-imperialist and progressive forces and ensured new
achievements along the road to peace, socialism, and national liberation. Vietnam, with its
experience of heroic struggle against imperialist aggression for freedom and independence,
with its great revolutionary prestige, has now become a significant factor of peace and
progress in South-east Asia and Asia as a whole.

Passage 2 INHIBITIONS
It is owing to some inhibitions they may suffer that some school children refuse to study or
find ways to cut class. These inhibitions can be manifested in different forms of behavior such
as caprice, an inclination towards sullenness, or fear of being unable to meet their parents’
expectations which sometimes seem too high for them. Statistics shows that in France 5% of
the pupil population has to go and see psychiatrists because of this urge.
