If this happens, I think I'll go talk to him as calm as possible and ask him why he
is asking questions not really that important for that certain job interview. I
know I'm just an assistant but that doesn't mean I don't know what to do in that
kind of scenario.

As an assistant of Hr manager, one of things that I need to do is to assist my Hr
manager. If one day Jonathan interviewed the candidate in an appropriate way, i
would rather ask Jonathan's permission to talk him on private after the interview
process. I'll raise my opinion regarding with the actions he showed up. I'll tell
him that he done inappropriate way. Its up to him if he'll accept the opinion I
gave.

In this situation you notice the applicant are not capable to the job you offered
to Him. You should give the chance to work to them I mean you suggest the another
job that fit to Him. In this way you can help to improve the abilities he have. As
a assistant of HR manager you also give encourage for those people not having
enough skills, experience etc. to enhance the abilities I think if you see his
growth as a worker you will promote in that level.
