Worldly Benefits of Belief in Hereafter

Based on the text that I have read before, there are many discussions about believing in
the hereafter. First, oppressed people who cannot get their rights can instead comfort
themselves by believing in the afterlife. Then, a man can only look at life as something beautiful
and provide meaningful life thoughts.
In terms of family life, believing in the afterlife is the only way to ensure love, respect
and loyalty among family members. A husband can only and fully has genuine love for his
wife and believes that his wife will regain her lost beauty. A child can sincerely and truly love
his parents, ideas that can lead children to respect their parents, to protect them from any attack
and to protect themselves from the forbidden way of life is only to believe in the afterlife.
Everyone wants to live a heavenly life. When they demand something, they demand
the best from it. Humans are always interested in personal gain and love themselves first. If
they don't like something or if it's not beneficial to him, it seems evil in his eyes.
They evaluate all events and events in this perspective. What is self-evaluation? Self-
evaluation is a personal evaluation. If we find something wrong with ourselves, of course we
must immediately change and replace with the right. Simply put, so we don't repeat the same
mistakes and always get better in life.
Of course God teaches us to evaluate, albeit indirectly. There are various kinds of things
that Allah described in the Qur'an relating to the command to evaluate yourself.
Qs. Al-Baqarah 2:44

“Why do you tell others (do) goodness, while you forget your own (obligation), even though
you read the Book (the Torah)? Then don't you think?”
Qs. An-Nahl 16:72
“Allah made for you wives of your own kind and made for you from your wives, children and
grandchildren, and gave you good fortune. So why do they believe in the vanity and deny the
favor of Allah?”
Qs. Al-Qashash 28:60

“And whatever is given to you, then it is the pleasure of worldly life and its adornments; while
what is with Allah is better and more eternal. Then do you not understand it?”
Humans evaluate life's events in two different ways. First, they learns their true
meaning, purpose and wisdom. Second, they names them and evaluates accordingly.
So, for those who believe and believe in the hereafter will not go around doing an act
in his life. He will be careful and afraid of Allah SWT if he makes the slightest mistake. In life
at least we need to evaluate ourselves to look back, think, and take lessons to make us a better
person.
