Chapter 1
1) Introduction
1.1 Background:
The book name “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne motivates a reader that a people thought
can change the life and also belief in the pseudoscientific( the method is right but result
can be wrong) law of attraction. This book tries to visualised the goals in order to attract
what people usually want.
1.2 Objective:
The main motto of mine to review this book is; to make a belive in yourself first.
 Sometimes we have to believe/ feel the positive energy around the universe.
 Our thought, consciousness, and level of capacity to do a wright things in life can
change a life as like a magic.

1.3 Limitation:
I want to include the reasoning i.e. inductive and deductive reasoning, science V common
sense.

1.4 Methodology:
Here, I haven’t done a primary investigation but what I think is; in each individual life if
we have have a courage and passion of doing something then by making a certain
planning and asking to universe we got every desire fulfilled.
And the method is natural and it’s my doctrinal research. I will be reviewing book and
see as well get help from the internet.

2) Conceptual framework

2.1 Context in the book:

The main concept of the book is , our thought, intention, level of consciousness
and feelings will influence our whole life and determined whether our life will be
good or bad into the entire whole life.

According to Rhonda Byrne ; to get success or our desire fulfilled is such a

secret that only few people known and they get popular because they know the
rules of the law of attraction. And such famous people are Plato, Glalillio,
Adison, Einstein and they hide such rules from other common people.

But when we are talking about the law of attraction, firstly we should know what
does it mean:
It means law of gravitational force which called a Gurutvakarshan where a Guru
means big , in a massive sense where Akarshan means a attraction. In other sense,
it’s a another natural rules which is based on 3 different principles;

The first one is ; think anything and ask/ order to universe.

The second one is; think or feel and believe that you are getting your desire .
The third one is; feel that you are receiving your wants.

As she has rightly mentioned; “the first step to freedom is when we understand
that our thoughts create our life. What you think is what manifests.”

Today present is the thought of our past , she even said that; our mind is like a
magnet it attract a things according to our thought and attract the same kinds of
frequency. One frequency attract the same kinds of others frequency and
applicable into our life.
Our mind within a 1 minute it thinks a more than 60 thousand’s things. All those
thinks are so much unclear that we forget within a second . Now, what we have to
do is we should forget the unnecessary things and focus only in a needed one. If it
is possible than , in each day by taking your time , remember your wish and
visualized it. If you do so than your wish can be fulfilled.

In this book the writer tries to show some faith towards ourselfs so that , if we
think big we get a big. Never and ever thinks yourself a poor, untrained person
because only a person having a capacity to build an idea or tries to poatrays a
single idea as well as have a dream of future can be a successful person and
leader in his/her life.
2.2 Context with logic:
What I want to link with is, here in this book a writer says that if a person from the heart
ask any thing for universe, then get his/her a demand fulfilled again here, what we need
to understand is at the time of reasoning only based on information isn’t enough as
deductive reasoning rightly state that only having method, knowledge , experience isn’t
enough until it get proven by scientifically or get a verified.
I want to give an example which is based on reality of my one school senior; I was on
grade eight and what she did was , to pass an exam she fast at Salinadi for a month but as
a result what she get nothing, means if we want to pass in exam we should study rather
than sitting fast.(here is no any logic that by sitting fast we pass the exam until and unless
we do a hard work by making a dream ,by thinking nothing will happened.)
We know, an inductive reasoning is one that to reach an conclusion there uses a premises.
Probably if the premises are correct then the conclusion is also correct. But as said by
Byrne a person to law of attraction somehow is connected whether you agree or disagree.
Again here what I want to say is;
Universe is the outer world which neither people can see nor can be touched , it is a place
where stars, galaxies, asteroids and many more things are seen at night but how can we
relate a universe is connected through our mind perception, don’t it seems as like a
unbelieveable things.
As , other things said by writer that; believe can also make you a successful person and
make one step towards yours turning point , after reading this what I start building into
my mind is suppose; if I get poisoned by snaked then if I believed that no its nothing
happened it’s just a pain. What a silly statement, poison is poison nothing can be proved
it wrong once get injected by snaked it is obvious that we will die. All of it is based on
thoughts not on fact. There must be an logical argument but it is from no any angle sees
logical.
When we look it scientifically than also it is not appropriate because rather than believing
in common sense we should believe on science in present scenario. Here, what I think is
writer writes in the prospective of common sense because law of attraction and
gravitational force is later invented by Albert Einstein. Here, we need to remember,
before the born of Albert Einstein also our ancisters live they also think , they also
believe but without struggling badly they never get their dreamed fulfilled. From it, it is
proved that it is irrational.
As third things said by writer is that;
If you wish to have or buy a car than from today only you should start making a parking
place and make a license and so on have to make. We think each and every thing every
second but why don’t we get success is a question here. And the reason behind for
happening so is, our’s thought has been changing daily. The environment behind us is
negative and we also start thinking that which is never gonna be necessary for us.
Again, I want to link this says with the inductive and deductive reasoning. We can see
many people who having a wish to go abroad, be rich are not becoming a rich , if only
thinking is enough than at the time of medicine originating only thoughts are enough so
we need a deductive reasoning which is based on certainty, also it is static . It is not a
proven fact and only making a place is not necessary , what we need to do is we should
execising our policies and plans regarding buying a car.
Also, I want to link with perception laukika part where by uses a six senses we can feel
that our thought but neither we can smell, touch, taste the universe so it is not a logically
be correct.
3 ) Analysis and conclusion

3.1 Analysis:
After knowing the book “The Secret” what we have to learn is only depending on
universe and saying that I have order to universe or thinking/believing that I am getting
my wish , demand fulfilled can make a person to be such like a insane because a insane
person also don’t be capable to choose between right and wrong and always depend on
others to do a small things.
For me the truth is one but for writer the truth can be another. Yes, I do believe that there
is a law of attraction but I don’t believe that a attraction attract our thinks and make it
applicable in coming days.
Always a people can’t think positive it’s a fact because today how much I said, I am a
positive thinker there is a certain point where it comes something hilarious and start
thinking negative. So , only tries to be positive is also not possible for example:
I gave an exam but rather then thinking positively I started thinking that whether I will be
passed or not , in which subject I get low means a negative thoughts come into a mind.
Only based on reality cannot be said as a logically proven.

3.2 Conclusion:
Thus in a nut shell:
A writer said two important things like :
 Have a positive thought and according to it have a positive believe.
 And such positivity should be applicable at the time of speaking, and in our
activities too.

As writer quoted, in this rule of law of attraction, our mind work only in
photo .When ever I said you to close your eyes and do not remember your mother,
but after closing the eyes we got to visualized the photo of mother. It means we
do a right work in a bad way.

That is why; now from today onwards, hey you people stop thinking yourself a
poor and unsuccess person. There is a saying also; if you from your pure heart ask
any wish then to get it all the universe will support.
