Dear Sir,

I would like to tell a short story about myself. My name is Garry Jonathan who is
enrolled in SBM ITB - BLEMBA 12. I am 25 years old and still single. I was born in
Jakarta and grew up in a Christian family with one (1) younger sister who is
enrolled in Psychology Major in University of Atmajaya.

Currently, I’m still living together with my family and we have a very good
relationship, although with some minor problems, which relate to the
characteristic of each family member. For example, my father is a very calm and
patient person, my mother is very caring to the family, however, a sensitive and
moody person, and my sister is, actually, really acting as a little sister, so we are
very close to each other. Despite of all the facts, we are getting along very well.

There was a time when I used to be very shy to was in elementary school, around
6 – 7 years old,

Story about yourself

Sigmund freud argued that making sense of our past – especially, the events of
our childhood – would help us to resolve present conflicts and open up more
possibilities for ourselves in the future.

Write a short story about yourself. The story should show you in the past, the
present, and the future. You can include the following details:

- a scene (important event) from your early childhood (may relate to your
relationship with parents/caregivers)
- a scene about a problem/conflict (with someone else) in your current life
- a scene from your imagined future where the conflict is resolved and
elements of the first two scenes are also present
- you may present the scenes in the story in any order you choose.
