This understanding translates into our Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The Prestige Foundation is a
charitable trust founded to provide socio economic relief
and education to the poor .Prestige, in association with the
Rotary Club, also presents the annual Citizen Extraordinaire
Award to citizens of Bangalore who have made exemplary
contributions to its overall growth. Previous recipients of the
award include Sri Nandan Nilekani and Sri SM Krishna
among others. Prestige has also partnered with St. John’s
Hospital, Bangalore for their Vision 20-20 programme and
donated vision testing equipment for use in mobile eye
camps conducted in rural areas. The Educate India Trust
was established, with the Promoters of Prestige
participating as Trustees, to advance and promote learning
and education. The Trust is currently engaged in the
operations of Inventure Academy, a Bangalore based day
school. Inventure Academy is distinguished by its focus on
providing education that stimulates children to use their
multiple faculties and think in connected ways, thus better
preparing them for success in a globalised environment.
