Remove the plug in the measuring hole on the clutch housing.

Insert measuring tool 9998579 into the hole and against the clutch release fork.
Move the slide towards the clutch housing and lock with the lock screw.

Remove the measuring tool 9998579 and note the value for the slide.

Note the value on the label.

With a new clutch plate, note the value in column X1.

With wear inspection note the value in column X2.

Values for clutch plate(s) when replacement is necessary

• X1 = new plate
• X2 = measured value
• Y = max wear range,
Y = X1 - X2
For single plates, Y = 34 mm
For double plates, Y = 36 mm
• D = date
