(Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.

Sub: TAMIL NADU POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD - RENEWAL OF

CONSENT – M/s. DCW Limited, (Caustic Soda Division) S.No.132, 136,
137, 139, 140 part of 123, 133, 135, 138 Kayalpattinam Village,
Tiruchendur Taluk, Thoothukudi District - Discharge of sewage and
trade effluent under section 25 of the Water (Prevention and Control of
Pollution) Act, 1974(Central Act.6 of 1974).

CONSENT is hereby granted under Section 25 of the Water (Prevention and Control of
Pollution)Act,1974 (Central Act 6 of 1974) (herein after referred to as “The Act”) and the rules
and orders made there under to

Thoothukudi District

(herein after referred to as “The Applicant”) authorising him to make/ continue to make
discharge or use existing or bring into use altered outlet for discharge of sewage and/ or
trade effluent.

This is subject to the provisions of the Act, and the rules and order made there under
and further subject to the terms and conditions incorporated under the Special and General
Conditions stipulated in the Consent Order issued in this office Proceedings cited above and
subject to the following conditions.

 1. The unit shall operate and maintain the ETP efficiently and continuously including RO plant &
Nano system efficiently and ensure zero effluent discharge and scrubber and high TDS effluent
is disposed into the SEP without any seepage/ Spillage.
2. The unit shall not discharge any wastewater into nearby water courses directly/
indirectly.

The CONSENT is valid for the period ending 31.03.2011.
