INTRO: Welcome to Quezon City Public Library!

The library is a resource to help you with your research and


studies. It is open to the general public – students, professionals, out-of-school youth, senior citizens, officials and
employees of the city halls and others who may wish to conduct research or spend a wholesome use leisure time
thru reading.

 Quezon City Public Library (QCPL) went beyond the image of how a public library looks like from facilities
to services.
 The three-story library boost of state-of the art and eco-friendly infrastructure design.
 There are over 15,000 books in its main collection.
 Computers are also available for public use with online public use with public access catalog (OPAC) and
wifi connection.
 Readers may take a break at the café
 QCLP also provides E-Government services: NBI, Passport Application, Pag-ibig and more.
 The library also incorporates special sections for law research with 1,775 collection and a children’s corner
with 3,478 books
 It was inaugurated last February 5, 2017
 The first library to use a radio-frequency identification (RFID), the latest technology for theft detection and
book tracking.
 The library does not just acquire and collect books.
 Digital books, e-journals and Quezon City ordinances are available in QCPL’s website
 QCPL operates from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm and Saturday from 8am to 4pm

Opinion: Quezon City Public Library is the perfect spot to do some studies and research, with its newly
renovated building and upgraded facilities, Quezon City Public Library is a haven for bookworms. I am highly
recommending the QCPL for students in need of study area and research facility. This library will give you a
satisfaction for your reading taste.
