Activity 14 : Research Design

1. Compose introductory paragraph of your research methodology.

This study will be conducted to determine the effects of online learning on the mental

health of the bsrt students of Universidad de zamboanga and if there’s a significant difference

when they are group according to their gender and socio economic status. In order to answer the

research goals, the researchers will prepare a survey questionnaire that is answerable by a rating

scale in likert scale form.

2. Describe the general methodology/approach that you will utilize in your proposed study.

The proposed study will employ the descriptive method type of research. In this study,

the researchers will determine the Effects of Online Learning on the Mental Health of the BS-

Respiratory Therapy Students of Universidad De Zamboanga. The approach would descriptive as

the questionnaire used is answerable in a rating scale.

Descriptive type of research suits perfectly the study the researchers are conducting and it

is much appropriate for the study as it aims to accurately explain every single details and it is

flexible.

Descriptive method because it describes a phenomenon in a detailed manner and it is

hassle free as it is also easy to conduct aside from it being quick, it’s very commonly used in

research studies.
