Task Session 6

Speech is a form of creativity to express conscience or information to a certain group in a particular

container.

There are three parts to the speech

1) Greetings

The greeting must be located at the beginning of the speech text which is the beginning or opening of the
speech.

Example :

Assalamu'alaikum Wr. Wb.

Good morning, best wishes to all of us

2) the content of the speech

part of the content of the speech, the speaker will convey the essence of the speech topic being delivered.

Example :

In this era, many sophisticated technologies have been created to simplify the way we live in this era.
With its sophistication, we can shorten the time and speed up the completion of work .

3) cover

The closing section will provide conclusions about the main topics of the speech.

Example :

How to Give a Good and Interesting Speech, that is :

Consider audience needs

If you want to give a strong speech you have to consider the needs of your audience and pay attention
to who your audience is when giving your speech because that will make you feel better about
determining your character style.

Determine the theme

In determining the theme, we need to know in what context the speech will be delivered.

Study the decommissioning and voice changes you want to make.

Some speakers, if they read from the text, always underlined the words they wanted to emphasize.

Stand up straight.

You don't have to take a marching stance, but simply stand up comfortably.
