Solution
Let number of boys and girls in section A be 7x and 5x respectively.
According to question;
1.2 × 5x = 360
Or, x = 60
Number of boys in section A = 7 × 60 = 420
Number of girls in section A = 5 × 60 = 300
Total number of students in section A = 300 + 420 = 720

Solution:
Let radius of cone be 2r cm
150
So, radius of cylinder = 2𝑟 × 100 = 3𝑟 cm
And, height of cylinder = 3r cm
Now, let slant height of cone be I cm
ATQ
𝜋×2𝑟×(𝑙+2𝑟) 25
= 100
2×𝜋×3𝑟×(3𝑟+3𝑟)

𝑙 = 2.5 hr
Required ratio = 2.5𝑟 ∶ 3𝑟 = 5 ∶ 6

Solution:
A get (100 − 52)% = 48%
And B gets (100 − 67)% = 33% marks in exam
Let total marks be ‘X’
ATQ
48% of X – 120 = 33% of X + 30
0.48X – 0.33X = 150
0.15X = 150
X = 1000

Passing marks = 1000 × − 120 = 360

Marks obatained By C = 1000 × 100 = 540
Required marks = 540 − 360 = 180
