My name is Aprily Arlando Leha but my friends used to call me Lando. I am the youngest
and i have four siblings. When i was 8 years old we lost our beloved father, the head of the
family who was quite tough in his life. he was my role model in my life, because of his
perseverance and his hard work It became a motivation for rne to be like my dad. I am very
proud to have a father like him. After a few years, my mom decided to remarry because she
only works as a housewife so could not support our family financially. My stepfather's is a
journalist. However as a journalist the income is uncertain so sometimes it gets hard when its
time to pay my college tuition. All these limitations have never impact my enthusiasm to
study as high as possible.

I have an interest in music. I can play many kinds of traditional and modern musical
instruments. Type of traditional instrument like tifa and gendang. Meanwhile, for modern
musical instruments I can play guitar (acoustic guitar and bass), piano and drums. I can
expressed all my feelings with music. Besides that i have interest in video editing. I usually
the one who responsible when it comes to edit our practical lab video.

I took my undergraduate education (Sl) at the University of Pattimura Ambon, Fisheries and
Marine Faculty. Department of Fisheries Product Technology. In my department/study
program i learn about how to processed the marine resources. It has become a strong
foundation for me to provide assistance to people who have a profession as a fisherman about
the right way to handle and processed the marine resources.

I entered the Indonesian Christian Student Movement (GMKI) organization and began to be
active in it, I also entered the Student Work Unit (UKM) Christian Student Union (PMK)
Faculty of Fisheries & Marine Sciences, i serves as a member and had a role as a caretaker in
the interest and talent in the 2020-2021 period. From the organization i learn a lot about
leadership, public speaking, and trial technique. Besides that, i've been participate as a comitee
to some GMKI and PMK events. Such as easter, christmas, valentines, and The Introductory
Period events for the new member. We also do several social service for example we giving
financial help for people affected by the Ambon earthquake on 26 September 2019.

My achievements that i got far , i was 5th general winner when i graduated highschool and i
also participated in the provincial poetry musicalization competition and got 3rd place. And
i have attended an office application computer course and i graduated with an A predicate.

I believe i deserve this scholarship opportunity because over the last two years as a college
student , really teach me a lot, about life, softskills and relation with other's. Most of it i got in
organization (GMKI,PMK). It really develop my soft skills
(public and leadership) as well as my musical skills. My involvernent and everythings that i
got from this both organization is a prove that i am a responsible person, hardworking, could
work in team and want to develop myself more and more for a better future.

And i know the VDMS comunity is a right place to improve myself because there is leadership
training so that i am ready to develop my personal, and intellectual abilities so that i am
prepare to the world of work. And i want to contribute in every VDMS events and giving my
best. Of course also in order to be useful person for my nation and country

And as a fisheraes product technology student i have a responsibility to develop the fishery
sector, especially the fishery product processing sector. I have to do all this to improve the
proseperity of the processing fisheries community (for example fisherrnen and fisheries micro
businesses).

Thats all about me, my family, my study, organization and all my achievrnent and the reason
why i choose to applied this scholarship. And i can be a role model to my environment as i
am a college student, that is within the campus environment or in the outside community,
and will set a good example in my environment and prove that people who experience
deficiencies in economic or financial needs can be active in college and finally graduated with
a satisfying results.
