INT: DINING ROOM - NATURI'S HOME - DAY 1

The couple SEAN and NATURI, sits at the table enjoying wine.
They share casual conversation while connecting eye to eye.

SEAN
You had me stuck the other day when I
saw you passing by. Looking beautiful
as ever.

NATURI (BLUSHES)
Don't gas me up.

SEAN
Nah foreal. I'm just glad your mine.

Sean places his hand over Naturti as she smiles.

INT: DINING ROOM - NATURI'S HOME - DAY 2

Sean sits at the table doing homework. Naturi smiles wide and
approaches him from behind, laying a plate of food down in
front of Sean.

SEAN (SMILES WIDE)

This for me? Ah thank you baby.

SEAN (SCARFS FOOD)

Dang girl, you put your foot in this.

Naturi smiles and hugs him from behind before giving him a
kiss on the cheek.

NATURI (GIGGLES)
You know I got you.

INT: DINING ROOM - NATURI'S HOME - DAY 2

Naturi cleans the messy dining table that's stacked with

papers and plates. She gazes off and smiles while thinking
about Sean.

INT: DINING ROOM - NATURI'S HOME - DAY 3

Naturi and Sean play UNO while sitting adjacent to each other
at the dinning table. Both players have an equal chance of
winning the game.

NATURI
I'm not finna lose.

SEAN
We gon see about that.

NATURI
Oh really?

SEAN
Yeah, Yeah.

NATURI
Okay, so what's the color then?

SEAN
Red lil boy.

NATURI (DANCES AND CHEERS)

UNO out! What? What? You lost. I win.
I win.

SEAN
Whatever bean head.

Naturi leans her head forward sticking her tongue out before
being kissed by Sean. The two scurry away to another room.

INT: DINING ROOM - NATURI'S HOME - DAY 4

Sean drops his book bag down and sits at the table going over
homework. Clearly frustrated with everything.

Naturi comes in to clean up and straighten up his papers a

bit frustrated with the mess.

INT: DINING ROOM - NATURI'S HOME - DAY 5

Seans sits at the table on his phone. Naturi pulls out two
concert tickets but he ignores her.

NT: DINING ROOM - NATURI'S HOME - DAY 6

Naturi sets the dinner table waiting for Sean to come. She
sits at the dinner table alone watching her watch. She checks
her mirror to see how she look then sips her wine by herself.

END SCENE

INT. DINING ROOM _ NATURI HOME DAY 7

Sean comes in from work and holds a paper with bad grades.
Sits at the table frustrated once again. Naturi comes in to
help but he pushes her away.

NATURI
Hey, what happened last night? Are you
okay?

SEAN
Not now Naturi.

NATURI
I'm just trying to see if you are
good.

SEAN (YELLS)
I said not now Naturi.

Sean storms off as Naturi watches him walk away in

frustration. She clearly is hurt by is actions.

INT. DINING ROOM - NATURI'S HOME - DAY 7

Naturi and her best friend DEVIN talk over a cup of Coffee.

NATURI
I don't know what's going on with him.

DEVIN
Just give him some time. He'll come
around

Naturi covers her face about to cry and Jason gets up rubbing
her back.

INT. LIVING ROOM - NATURI'S HOME - DAY 8

Naturi giggles at text messages. Sean sits across from her,

eating his food noticing how giddy she is. He looks at her
with irritation

SEAN
Who that, your new friend?

NATURI (SNICKERS)
What?

SEAN

You heard me? You giggling and stuff.

NATURI
I don't got time for this.

Naturi rolls her eyes and walks away.

Naturi walks to the living room as Sean follows.

Why you disrespecting like this?

NATURI
Disrespecting you like what?

SEAN
If it's somebody else just say it.

NATURI
Sean, I'm with you!

SEAN
Act like it then! Act like it then!

NATURI
Lower your tone!

SEAN
I don't got to do nothing!

NATURI
You over here acting insecure, grow
up.

SEAN
What?

NATURI
I said grow up. I'm sick of your sh-

Sean gets extremely upset and backhands Naturi. Sean becomes

apathetic as he is petrified by his actions. Naturi gives him
one look before runs out of the room and slams the door.

INT. LIVING ROOM - NATURI'S HOME - DAY 8

Sean falls to his knees in frustration and buries his face in

his lap.

END SCENE

INT. LIVING ROOM OR DINING ROOM - NATURI'S HOME -

Several days have passed since Naturi left. The filthy room
reflects Sean's negligence to clean. He sits at the table
eating dinner alone. He gets frustrated and throws everything
off the table.

INT. LIVING ROOM OR DINING ROOM - NATURI'S HOME - DAY 15

Sean sleeps with his head on the dining room table. The front
door slowly opens as Naturi appears. She approaches Sean
softly tapping him until he awake. Stunned by her presence,
Seans rushes to grab her waist and rest his head on her
stomach. She hesitantly embraces him as she strokes his hair.
Naturi stares into the camera with a solemn look, showing her
bruised face.
