Re: Notice of Explanation

Sir,

This is with reference to the notice of explanation I duly received on April 5, 2021 requiring
me to explain in writing about the allegations imputed against me about my actuations
contained in the complaint filed by my secretary Chandra Nalaar and another employee
Liliana Vess.

I admit that I may have acted in ways that may have been perceived as uncomfortable and
sexually-tainted. I know that Schultz Corporation is committed in keeping our workplace
safe from acts such as those alleged in the complaint like often making compliments,
innuendoes or comments to employees. However, I have to deny such allegations absent bad
faith as I did not intend to offend them nor imply any intent of sexual acts towards the
complaining employees. Believing in good faith, to me, such is just my way of boosting
happiness in the office as it appeared to me that they seem to enjoy the attention and I never
gave any thought of it as becoming offensive to warrant this complaint. That it is to my
surprise that these complaints was referred to your office, as I myself never had any reports
for the actuations I may have had to Ms Nalaar and Ms Vess. As a matter of fact, our
department has been commended as the most productive division in the corporation which to
my belief is a manifestation of my good relationship with my colleagues for three years now.
Nevertheless, I may have been at fault but rest assured that I will never act such ways so as
to create any misunderstanding again in the future.

This I submit to at least explain my side and defense, and that I may be afforded a
clarificatory meeting or conference with them. And in anticipation that this would be
ventilated amicably in a settlement as I really would opt to clear things up with them in case
this misunderstanding affects or rather has already affected our working relationship.
