COUNTRY
ANALYSIS
Rationale
This project intends to showcase the ability of the student/s to present
what they have learned in the class by making a country analysis of a
chosen country. The project will include a term paper and presentation
before the end of the semester.
Project
The project will require you to write a term paper on the analysis of
your chosen country, format and flow of the paper will be discussed on
the following presentations.

The project will be done and presented in groups, you have the
freedom to choose who you want to work with and in accordance to
what your class and instructor would agree. There will be no
duplication of country and plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Any sort of
plagiarism will result to failure of the subject.
Project Format
The format for your project is:
- Font style: Arial
- Font size: 11
- Spacing: 1.5 spacing
- Margin: 1 inch all sides
Project Format
For your front page you will use thesis format front page.

Write your title as:


(chose country): Country Analysis
Example:
Philippines : Country Analysis

Write your table of contents.


Project Format
The content of your paper is broken down into the following chapters:

Introduction
Discussion
Conclusion
Recommendation
References

Take note that chapter headings should be written at the center top of
the page and should be written in bold capital letters.
Flow of the Paper
Introduction:
Overview of the country you have chosen. (Brief Economic
data/history) Discuss their economic standing, are they classified as
developing country or developed country. Some economic issues they
have faced over the past few years. And if data is available you can
alse discuss how does the pandemic had affected that country.

Then discuss why is this the country you chose. Then a brief overview
of what we would expect from reading your paper.
Flow of the Paper
Discussion:
- Trade Policies implemented by the chosen country
discuss the trade policies. Are they implementing tariffs or free
trade.
- Top Producing Industry
discuss the top producing industry, this might be classified as the
industry that is a major contributor to their GDP. With their
geographic location and demographic profile, do you think that this
industry is appropriate for them? Or is this a sustainable industry
for that country? You can rank atleast their top 3 or 5 or more
industries. Your choice on what would make your project better

Are they labor intensive or capital extensive goods?
List down atleast the top 3 or more off course with respect to the
availability of data.

Discussion:
- Top trading partners
What countries are their trading partner? And what do they
import/export from that country? Who do you think benefits more
from this trades.

Conclusion:
- Does this country benefit from trade? Why you say so?
- What are the things you have learned/discover while writing the
paper.

Recommendations:
- How would you asses the trading performance of your chosen
country?
- What could be done to improve their trading status?

The presentor/s should exhibit mastery of the paper they are
presenting. Consistency of presentation and paper is a must. And
shows knowledge to answer some inquiries among the class and
the instructor
