Political System in The World

Political system is really important for all country in the world. Therefore the
system of one country nay be different with another country’s. Since there is difference
between one political system to another, then each political system has its own
advantage and disadvantages. Monarchy, democracy and republic are some political
system that applied in the country in world
In most monarchies, the monarch holds control and their position for life (in a few
republics, the head of state, often styled president, might remain in office for life, but
most are elected for a term of office, after which he or she must step down). There are
currently 31 monarchs reigning over 45 extant sovereign monarchies in the world the
disconnect in numbers between monarchs and countries is explained by the fact that the
sixteen Commonwealth realms, including the trans-continental realms of Canada and
Australia are separate realms of one Sovereign in personal union and one other
monarchy, Andorra, has two non-resident foreign (French and Spanish)
In an absolute monarchy, the monarch has absolute power over every aspect of the
state, if not of social life in general, and has the power to grant or withdraw a
constitution, a constitutional monarch is subject to the constitution like other citizens,
though in some cases he has certain constitutional privileges such as inviolability.
Democracy describes a small number of related forms of government. Its name
comes from the ancient Greek for "rule by the people". A common feature of
democracy as currently understood and practiced is competitive elections. It was
invented in 510 B.C.E. Competitive elections are usually seen to require freedom of
speech, freedom of the press, and some degree of rule of law. Civilian control of the
military is often seen as necessary to prevent military dictatorship and interference with
political affairs.
Majority rule is a major principle of democracy, though many democratic systems
do not adhere to this strictly - representative democracy is more common than direct
democracy, and minority rights are often protected from what is sometimes called "the
tyranny of the majority". Popular sovereignty is common but not universal motivating
philosophy for establishing a democracy. Though the term "democracy" is typically
used in the context of a political state, the principles are also applicable to private
organizations and other groups.
A republic is a state or country that is not led by a hereditary monarch, where the
people of that state or country (or at least a part of that people) have impact on its
government, and that is usually indicated as a republic. The detailed organization of
republics' governments can vary widely. The first section of this article gives an
overview of the distinctions that characterise different types of non-fictional republics.
The second section of the article gives short profiles of some of the most influential
republics, by way of illustration. A more comprehensive list of republics appears in a
separate article. The third section is about how republics are approached as state
organisations in political science: in political theory and people governed. In historical
western usage the term "republic" is sometimes used to describe a representative
democracy, in contrast to a direct democracy.
For all system above, it is clear that political system is really important for all
country in the world.
