Abstract

This paper attempts to analyze the ‘Role of power in the plays of William Shakespeare in various

perspectives’. As the study supports qualitative analysis method therefore, it explores different

grounded theory and phenomenological research where it collects a rich discussion through

compare and contrast of each character in the plays of Shakespeare defining the subject matter.

Moreover, the paper scrutinizes the post-colonial affinity and European influence which has been

reflected in the characters and state of affairs in different perspective. It allows readers to explore

the shifts of situation and fate from both sides. The study provides a deeper insight regarding the

changes of how a man or women reacts playing the role of an authority to figure the human

nature injected in every human being. Reading the paper can feed the quest of knowing the

conditions and norm of the Shakespearean era and for what reason such theme takes place in the

plays of Shakespeare to view it from different perspectives.
