 Assembly Suggestions
1 Use 3/8” dowels or dominos to fasten support rails to side table legs.
Add wood glue or construction adhesive for the added strength to all joints. Clean up residue to avoid unwanted

stains.
Pre-drill and countersink the side table legs and add 3 1/2” wood screws for additional strength. Make sure

countersink is approximately 1 1/2” deep to assure screws will fasten securely.
4 Plug holes with wooden plugs to hide screws.
Oversize top pieces and glue and clamp pieces together. Add biscuits to help with alignment. Cut to finished size
5
after glue is dry.
6 Sand and paint side table framework before installing top and shelf boards.
7 Sand and finish shelf and countertop before final assembly. Make sure to remove all glue residue before finishing.
Top can be attached using 1/2” - 3/4” dowels or angle brackets. Make sure to leave a little extra room for glue if

using dowels.
9 Fit shelf boards and pine in place using 1 1/4” brad nail pins.
