period Period period period Students will use diverse and credible research platforms to create engaging historical Instagram post that relate to class content for our collective account. For every Instagram post a student makes they will receive a star to add to their class's progress bar. The progress bar represents our growth towards better research skills! For every 5 stars that a class receives they can vote on a topic of their desire to add to the hat of history theme day ideas! After we have taken our end of year exams I will draw a theme at random from the hat for each class. Every class will enjoy a history themed day based off the theme chosen from the hat! Expected Behavior for research: Students will use diverse and credible research platforms, other than Wikipedia, to create Instagram post that serve as a study tool and reflect student's interpretation of their research. For example, students may record themselves reenacting a moment in history or even post a screenshot of a popular image or album from the era. This is intended to teach fellow classmates something interesting about a topic related to class content while enhancing our research skills. The caption of every post should include commentary on how this post relates to history and students opinion about what is being posted. Lastly all captions must include a citation for the research platform that was used. 1) 2) Instagram Post Examples 1) Is an example of a a recreation of the famous sailor kissing photo that represents the end of WW2 using Legos. The caption should include how symbols in the painting relate to that time and a citation of the painting.
