If yes, are your local group members part of these organizations? No

7) Would you be able to organize any group or individual exchanges in the future?

Yes,of course,we will be willing to help with the procedure of enrolling to the
university, the application process, show them the facilities of the university, help
them to find accomodation as well as make them feel safe in the new city.

8) Why do you want to join IVSA?

We understand that the purpose pursued by IVSA, which we fully share,

requires the support and union of many members. It is important to capture the
diversity of regions and countries so that the exchange of knowledge, ideas and
projects is nurtured and enriched with what members from every corner of the
world can contribute.
We consider that not all the organizations involved are in the same conditions in
terms of resources (material and human), but each one may be able to
contribute its grain of sand in many aspects.

9) What can your new Member Organization offer to IVSA?

The entry of Uruguay would mean expanding mutual knowledge of ideas,

culture, work modalities and research in the veterinary field. Uruguay, which is
essentially a livestock country, offers many opportunities for study and research
in animal production. Symposia and conferences on Buiatrics and in other
branches of the career are held regularly. At the national level, the state
organizes every year an International Livestock Exhibition where the veterinary
faculty participates in different areas, (such as serving as a jury of the different
livestock breeds and categories).

10) Any other information that can convince delegates to vote for your new
Member Organization?

Voting for us IVSA would have one more representative from the southern
cone. It would be a way that the fauna of these latitudes are also considered and
preserved.
This year our veterinary faculty, based on a strategic development process, will
have a new headquarters. This implies that our new faculty will be at the
forefront in new techniques, diagnostic processes and will develop new
specialties of academic training. Counting Uruguay as a member of IVSA will
also help to expand training capacities abroad.
As we said before, cultural exchange can be expanded and IVSA and all those
who are benefited by this association will be able to enrich their knowledge,
which will be beneficial for the improvement of animals and people on this
planet.
