1.During which period of time have you had the most frequent contact with the applicant? From year of 2015 to 2017 .

2.What was the nature of your relationship?

The nature of my relationship with the applicant is Teacher-Student. I was his teacher of „Energy Utilization” and „ The management of the Electrical Energy” at
some specific seminars. In particular, we mainly debated the Smart-Grids which is now’a’days an abstract subject in Romania, and ETAP program.

3.In what areas does the applicant need improvement or growth?

His mathematical skills are a bit rusty like any other student, but once he gets the idea on what he has to do in approaching the subject, there is no doubt that he
won’t resolve the given quest. The applicant has much more of an affinity to Physics (as in thinking about the processes), practical engineering and Computer Sciences. He’s
a demanding person in terms of information, which it might be a good thing for some people or a bad manner for some other people like being pestered for information.
He’s likes more to do practical work than theoretical effort, so it might be considered a short-coming attribute.
4.Please comment on the applicant's interpersonal skills. How well does he or she work within a team?

As far as I’ve seen from the given assignments at the laboratory and seminar classes, he was always the team leader and that’s no wonder since he’s the type of
person of always being organized when it comes about serious matters. His colleagues trusted and respected him for always being prepared with different kind of
information and materials in various subjects and fields of engineering not only because he was good at the given assignment. Also, I’ve remarked that almost every time he
had borrowed different things to his colleagues like sheets of paper, pencils, pens, etc. which makes him seem to be „always prepared”. Maybe it has something to do with
the fact of being a „Boy Scout” too, as his extracurricular activity. All in all, the applicant is quite persuasive when sharing opinions with others, thus making him the
„leader”.
5.How would you describe the applicant's leadership skills?

Because, as I stated in the previous question’s answer, he usually had to be the leader of his group, something which already remarks his leadership skills, his team
had never failed in completing the given tasks. His approaching in completing the assignments is, as far as I noticed, based on time efficiency and thus he usually learns first
what his teammates can do and cannot do, and finally shares the assignments equal to each and everyone’s force. By doing so, it can be accomplished at a minimum time. At
more difficult tasks he prefers to work alone, but in co-operation with the teacher.
6.Please comment on the applicant's degree of self-confidence.
I would be surprised if he didn’t had self-confidence. A person without self-confidence couldn’t have done something like trying to go to Japan all by himself and
trusting his own powers and judgment, thus I believe the individual tries his best to accomplish his own goals and dreams. From my talks with him I also came to know that
he learned Japanese by himself which is not something you can do on a daily basis, and also he wants to candidate for a place among quality engineers and international
specialists even though he’s at a such young phase of his life. I remember that in my past dialogues with him mentioning that this is not the first time he tries to reach Japan,
that he also tried, upon graduating High-School, to go directly and study at a Japanese University trough the MEXT-Scholarship. I don’t find arrogance in any of his actions
but courage and he never lets himself down and seems to had never gave up hope.
7.Please comment on the applicant's personal character.
During the discussions, I had with my student, his character stays in the humble hemisphere. The type of person who likes to listen to logical and pertinent
stories or science subjects, philosophical subjects, etc. . Of course, if he’s keen on a subject many questions will pop-up. Verbally, polite and usually tries to choose his
words carefully, but if you treat him as equal, he’ll change on a friendly tone and will not lose his cool. While seeing him with his student colleagues, seems to be a funny
and cheerful person and strong minded at the same time.
8.Please indicate your overall evaluation of the applicant.

9.Please make whatever additional comments you wish about the applicant's potential for graduate study in Japan and potential for becoming a
responsible, effective person for your country. Additional pages may be attached, and the back page can also be used for comment.
