ADVERB CLAUSE OF CONDITION

A. OBJECTIVE :
The learning objective of this topic is that students are expected to able to
describe real situations using adverb clause of condition.

B. MATERIAL DESCRIPTION
Condition Using whether or not

I’m going to go swimming whether or notexpresses that neither


tomorrow whether or not it is cold. this condition nor that condition
(or: whether it is cold or not) matters; the result will be the same.

I’m going to go swimming tomorrow


whether or not it is cold.
(or: whether it is cold or not) :

means ”If it is cold, i’m going


swimming. if it is not cold, i’m going

temperature. It doesn’t matter.”

Condition Using in case and in the even that

Use the given information to complete the sentences.

1. John must get a scholarship in order to go to school. That is the only
